I would normally have given this pretty, hidden gem of a public park of 5 except for one thing...read on and you can see if I lowered it too much. Thoman park is directly behind the woodlake condo development. Unless you are in that area for something you will miss it because it is not on any major streets. It is well kept and very green. The pavilions are faux-pagoda styled and can be rented out from May to September. There are several bbq grills available, and the childrens play area is safe and well thought-out. The perimeter has meandering paved walking paths. This is a quiet peaceful setting with a few basically uninspired outdoor sculptures. So it sounds great but why the lowered score? Those of you who have dogs will understand. They are not welcome anywhere in the park. They are not welcome on the slides, they are not welcome on the hillsides. They are not welcome dressed in feathers, they are not welcome in any weather. They are not welcome if they are quiet, they are not welcome in the midst of a riot...so you get the point.
