Playground at Fort Nugent Park — Attraction in Oak Harbor

I was responsible for the layout of the footprint for the playground years ago. Worked with the community children to help them come up with 'their playground' Sad to see the maintenance not being done since I left the parks dept years back. This is a great little playground plenty of things for children to play on, the staff keeps the grounds really really clean. Bathrooms are usually very clean.

There are soccer fields and all kinds of sports fields where most of our local games get played.

As far as playgrounds go this is one of the best ones...

Lots of stuff for the kiddos to do. Feel like it's not well maintained. The swing are dug out as well as the board walk thing had so much bark on it kids were slipping left and right also a bit of trash that ended in my 1 year old and I picking up along the way.but other then...
