Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox — Attraction in Oak Hill

I love the Greek festival! We wait for it every year. Plenty of good food, Greek dancing, arts and other things to buy from around the world. The church looked lovely and they encouraged you to go inside and take a look. Fun, fun times! The only bad thing (for us!) is that the Greek bakery was wiped out by the time we got there in Sunday afternoon. I hear it sold out by Saturday night. We will go...

I’m Catholic and believe that Christ is fully, bodily present in this church, since the Orthodox churches are valid and have apostolic succession. That being said, what a fitting dwelling for our Lord. The church now has beautiful murals covering almost every surface. I’d be interested what the parish life is like since, even though it’s “Greek,” something like 50-75% of the people there...

Our son was receiving his Chrismation, and we also attended the Vesper service. The inside of the church was absolutely beautiful and you could feel the Holy Spirit all around you. The service was wonderful, and Father Marcantoni was very friendly, had a loving spirit, and made our first time attendance to the service a blessing. We are truly thankful to God for this place of worship...
