I asked to get a letter saying he doesnt need any work done and was checked out by the doctor due to a family who caused vomitting by not mixing dog foods correctly then calling animal control on the issue they caused. They said no need when animal control calls everything will check out.
Animal control calls and they asked was bloodwork done for him being underweight they answered no, CORRECT answer but then they stated he was underweight and bloodwork was required so was a fecal test, wait didnt i just say the doctor said nothing was needed for him being underweight?
got told they cant vaccinate the dog if hes unhealthy, crazy he got a rabbies shot, so if hes not unhealthy how did he get it? another contradiction How does that make sense?
I asked them to give me a letter saying they recommended bloodwork on a senior dog not because hes underweight so i can give to animal control and close that case because thats what dr told me, they said they cant give me a letter saying the dog is healthy, umm i never asked for that, you guys did an exam. Said everything is fine no medication or tests needed now you change your mind to make $$$ then say i can come back to do tests. I said i would go somewhere else first before you guys because you lied to me
manager asks then what are you trying to do? I said i already know im not getting the letter because you guys lied. My issue with this is to fix whatever lie or issue they have going on and since they dont care, im here to warn you from using this place i used pine hills clinic 100% better they check you instantly no waiting like here and they are upfront of exactly what your pet needs. No lies, no scam. While this one cant be upfront about you
Manager tone deaf, talking to a wall, cant give you a letter, say hes healthy, explaining why was i not TOLD HE NEEDED BLOODWORK WHY DO YOU NOT PROVIDE A PAPER SAYING ANY RECOMMENDATIONS. I ASKED DOES HE NEED ANYTHING? NO? A SIMPLE PAPER STATING HE NEEDED THIS OR THAT IF THE DOCTOR LIED OR FORGOT TO PUT HE NEEDED SOMETHING COULD HAVE EASILY AVOIDED THIS.
how can you vaccinate a healthy dog then say hes unhealthy, simple im sorry there was a misunderstanding lets fix it.
Edit lies from the reply
Im not leaving a review because i was frustrated i was leaving a review because you LIED and refused to acknowledge anything and all you could say on the phone is understand your frustrated and repeat the same thing over and over and ignore my actual issues.
You stated ONTHE PHONE anything not done is automatically showed DECLINED. Got the rabbies vaccine and it still shows declined How does that make sense? You guys keep contractdicting yourself. I also did ask for a letter MULTIPLE
added a picture to show how stupid you sound
If there was an underlying issue with my pet without bloodwork i stated WHY DID YOU TELL ME NOTHING WAS NEEDED then change your mind. I asked you to check with the doctor who lied saying he never said that and then check with the nurse practitioner did anyone even ONE TIME SAY i needed to do bloodwork for my pet being underweight? The answer was NO but nobody dares say the truth or admit it.
I called and asked for one thing a letter stating my pet was recommended blood work for preventive care for being a senior dog. nothing else, i did NOT ask you to put hes healthylike you said MULTIPLE TIMES or to say he doesn't need treatment or lie or make anything up but to say EXACTLY what you told me at the time of the appointment.
The vet did not recomend anything then he changed his answer. You guys dont want to be held accountable for your lack of being straight forward i will be going to another vet to get bloodwork and phycial done and make sure this time i have a letter and not just someones word who then decides to completely change everything they said and not even tell the pet owner anything.
Fail to understand this review is a warning for people that your doctor may diagnose your pet and say NOTHING TO YOU, if animal control had never CALLED you. I would have thought my exam went great and my...
Read moreUPDATE 3: We just received the results of the biopsies and was informed that one lump was benign, the other larger lump was able to be completely removed and the risk while seems to be gone we will need to monitor. Thank you Dr V for your care of our dog during this stressful time.
UPDATE 2: We had a follow-up with Dr V to look over the incision. He took the time to explain to me how the incision had to be made which was a bit unconventional and why the Robert Jones bandage was needed and how it will support our dog's recovery. He also shared with me more details or the surgery to help me understand the complexity of the procedure. This really helped me to understand. Updating my rating to 4 of 5. Thank you.
UPDATE 1: Thank you for the response. Some of it I can see but still has not been as smooth as I would have hoped.
You are the experts on the bloodwork, urine, etc. Not me. If I was told you needed a urine sample I would have prepared my dog...instead I had to make a different trip which was one hour of my time. Can I send you an invoice for one hour of my time?
It sounds like from the below you talked yourself into a good review from my feedback which means you do not see any opportunity for you to improve, interesting.
Just curious, is this Dr V or someone else responding?
ORIGINAL REVIEW Let me first say that I am grateful for Dr V and his team taking care of our family pet/dog. I do want to take a moment to share an experience that was not good though as I believe in providing feedback…good, bad, or indifferent.
Our dog was scheduled to get a surgery of which they did get a thorough consultation and provided an estimate. I understand it was an estimate and it could change while in surgery. During the day of the surgery we received two calls. The first is they found another mass that needed to be removed, it was an additional $575_ which we did not hesitate to say we understand and we agreed to pay. Then after the surgery they called to say there was an additional charge of $80 for a bandage of the one leg due to the size of the incision. When you are already over $2K in fees for a surgery the $80 did not bother me, but what it was for…a bandage. I was informed it has a bit more padding, wrapped the leg mostly, and is not something that I would be able to do at home, but yet would need to change in 2 to 3 days.
So am I supposed to go back every 2-3 days to pay them $80 to change it? They knew the size of the mass and where it was when they have us the estimate and should it not have been addressed at that point? It is a nice blue bandage/wrap, but I am not sure about $80 and we are already well over $2K.
I kindly asked April to please ask Dr V if he would consider a lesser fee and April said she tried, but it was a firm no.
By the way, this is the same procedure where I had to do blood work a few days prior and they told me our dogs bladder was empty so they could not get a urine sample and I would have to bring that back within 2 days to make sure the surgery was still on track. Well, if they had told me that they needed a blood and urine sample I would not had left her pee before she got in my car and in their front area. Apparently Dr V values his time more than mine, but I cant charge him back for the extra trip and one hour of my time.
UPDATE: Procedure was on a Friday, Saturday after the surgery they called me to let me know the urine results they forgot to tell me they needed (above) were fine. Sure glad they were fine given it was after the surgery was completed.
This is also the same place that every time I go in they ask me what brand of food I have our dog on, and every time I say the same thing…its tiring. Perhaps if Dr V took a better look at some of the details and slowed down a moment the service would improve.
My advice to Dr V would be a bit of customer service/experience would have made this experience a 5 versus a 1. And for the record, I have given them a 5 star review before, but not on this...
Read moreOh I cannot even begin to tell you the drama that fell upon me when I took my cat to another veterinarian (Saint Cloud Veterinarian Clinic) I am just so tired and really cannot handle all the stress that that visit put me through. Long story short I found Crystal Creek Animal Hospital in a desperate search to find my pets help. It's truly been a nightmare however once I got here my heart was put at ease. My animals were treated and are doing amazingly better. I will post the previous review from my other account and the review I left on the other vets page. Crystal Creek is going above and beyond to help me with the tyrannical behavior of this other vets clinic which has brought Animal control and law enforcement at my door. I wish I could type more about how appreciative I am for Crystal Creek. I am just so mentally and physically tired right now from all this stress. A BIG HUGE THANK YOU from TinyPaws and Missy. We love you guys ❤️ God bless ...review from my other account to CrystalCreek... I can not express my appreciation for crystal creek animal hospital in words. I was just so desperate to get help for my 2 critters and I had already seen another vet who just wanted to put them down. I spent over 8 hours and over a grand but my critters are now on their way to healing and recovery. Dr. Do Valle and Aresol really made me feel comfortable and like my pets were in good care. I will never forget their compassion and I will always be grateful for the care they gave to my Tiny Paws and my Missy. Love and blessings always and we will see you soon to finish our care. God Bless I wanted to give an update on Missy. It has only been one day and I already see drastic improvement with her skin. I don't know what is working so well and so quickly. Was it the shot that was hoping to help with allergies? A combination of all the treatments? I don't know but I thank you! Missy THANKS YOU! ...the review I left on Saint Cloud Veterinarian Clinic..... I took my cat to have an injury taken care of. They refused to treat him and now I have animal control and law enforcement at my door. There is about to be a law suit! Who wants to give me their money? I am going to own this place and give it an Arabic name! ...Update... my cat to whom they wanted to put down was seen by another vet with compassion and empathy. My bill was $1200 you guys lost out on all that money. I feel I was judged based on my hijab. They would not even look at my cat and expected me to just let animal control put down a perfectly healthy cat. His future is bright and he is on the way to recovery. I am a soldier of the United States Army and you added so much unnecessary stress and trauma with you escalating this situation just because you thought you could do so. I have suffered seizures and ended up in the ER do to all this stress you put me under. I am already going through so much in life and I went to you for help. Shame on you! NOTE TO ANIMAL LOVERS EVERYWHERE do not trust these guys. Do not trust that they have your animals best interests at heart. They have egos and agendas and they do not know better than YOU when it comes to YOUR PET! Stay far away from this place! ...UPDATE! ... this veterinarian still has animal control and law enforcement harassing me three weeks later. Why? Was your ego bruised because you were not able to push me around? Just keep building my case on you that is all you are doing. You are just trying to kill my cat and that is just a nasty human being. DO NOT TAKE YOU PET HERE! THESE PEOPLE...
