No entrance fee. So much to learn about this interesting 60 acre park. Plus a photo op dream...have your camera ready Tom & I spent the morning at this interesting park. We walked much of the 2 & 1/2 miles of paved trails and boardwalks with occasional stops at one of the numerous scenic over-looks. There are many displays with information dotted thru out the park as well as a huge tube shaped structure full of information explaining the logistics of this awesome place. There are endless photo ops of interesting scenery, birds, ducks, turtles and colorful flowers. There was a gentle breeze that kept the Spanish moss swaying from their drape on the branches of the huge trees. What a sweet way to spend a delightful...

I am currently here and I am already reviewing it. I’ve been here about a half hour. This place is very clean and well-kept. I see the little educational projects that they put up for children and adults also. I ran to the restroom. The restroom is nice and clean. The land is beautiful. Little rainy out today but that makes the place prettier. I’m very glad I come in contact with this place an hour and a half away and I just needed some me time. It all...

Excellent place for walking/running on paved trails and over bridges. There are a few trails to choose from, all under ine mile. But the trails run into each other so you can easily walk about 3 miles without backtracking. Beautiful area that is well maintained. Informative signs around the trails telling you about the wetlands, birds, and "bugs"/microorganisms. Terrific place to take your children - but no pets or bicycles. ...

Very nice man made wetlands. See some alligators, great white egrets, great blue heron, little blue heron, several song birds, turtles, coots…. Wonderful educational stations. Cool educational tunnel with cool art. Boardwalks are super nice. Path is nice around the property. Beautiful tress and plants growing. Lots of pollinators. Wish I lived closer to visit more often. Super clean bathrooms and plenty of parking. Most importantly- free to visit.

Great park for a pic nic or a nice walk. They have some informational activities for children which makes it a good field trip if you homeschool. They appeared to have many paths gated off due to storm damage, but it was still enjoyable. Bathrooms are very clean. Grounds are clearly well cared for. The entrances are on NW 21st Ave and NW 21st Street. Follow park rules and you probably won’t have any trouble with gators. Probably.
