Mary Sue Rich Community Center at Reed Place — Local services in Ocala

I went here today with my boyfriend he exercises here and we take showers here. Today as I showered I was interrupted by the Ocala police banging on the door insisting I open the door while I was naked so they can inspect the bathroom bc the front desk told them that 2 people where in the bathroom at the same time. This was not the case. As I went in the bathroom to shower I handed my boyfriend his lock and key to lock his bag up while he went for his walk so we didn't take up both bathrooms at the same time ahowering. The police officer who insisted I open the door was impatient and kept banging on the door as I asked him to please wait while I put some clothes on and open the door. When he told me the front desk said 2 people came in and it was on camera I opened the door wide open and he could see there was not 2 people inside and it was just my self. As I left do you think anyone could apologize or say anything nope not a word ... Okay first of all, beautiful facility! Everything is so clean and new!! The art wall outside glows in the dark at night !! & The library was great, the indoor walking trail was great for my son and I!! My husband also goes to the gym there and we have friends that play basketball & volleyball here, And honestly the area is beautiful ! We love the park and splash pad across the street. But ladies it's not the best area to be alone in. I will say carry a tazer or gun. My police scanner kept going off for the neighborhood in which the facility is located in. And I did see cops patrolling. With that said, I still like it here and there was an area for the kids to play in and there's a seniors area, an art room, rooms for rent.
