There come in the heart of the tourist moments of abject deference, as what I experienced a monstrous night with the Cleveland Harbor West Pierhead Lighthouse. These are not wholly good nor wholly bad nor any more existence than epinephrine nor any less dignity than destitution, yet the legacy of history still haunts us.
Cleveland stands as the land of consummate existence at the head of a relentlessly marching rhythm of callus lessons learned from humility, and this lighthouse was no different. Much like an episode of Gilmore Girls, it had aged a bit worse than one expected, retaining the merits of its original with the fear of impending judgment as a consequence of societal improvement it could never have dared to hope could come true. Yet, here we stand.
