Silver Crest Cellars — Attraction in Ohio

The wines here are top shelf. I tried the Agawam wine (a unique old style grape) and found it fascinating and delicious. I'm hooked. We took my parents here for a 64th wedding anniversary wine tasting. My 89 year old father found the Cabernet Sauvignon to high standard. This is a small winery with big taste for sure. The place is very new. We were greeted by the owners upon entering. They were both very kind and informative about their wines and wine making process. They also had great tips about the area. We spent the night at Silver Crest Cellars with our Harvest Host membership and had a lovely time. They were lovely hosts, and we tried the both the Dornfelder and the Heritage and both were delicious. We enjoyed their picnic tables in the woods overlooking the vineyards. Lovely setting!
