Long story short 3 year old birthday party we were having it at the back of the Pavilion where there was nobody renting the building and no other family occupying the space once we had had everything set up in there for roughly 2 hours started cooking our food to prepare for our guests when a couple grounds employees came over and promptly had us removed stating that it was only meant for reservations all this said we had tried several times to call and several times to book the area online to avoid an issue like this. Without any issue or any hassle we gathered our things up and moved across the park finished cooking our food and carried everything back over at this point in time you would expect to see something or someone starting to use the area and or building we stayed and finished the party tell about 5:00 p.m. and would you know that no one used the building the entire time the employees went out of their way to make us move so a friendly reminder to all don't use the patio on the Pavilion unless you can get a hold of someone daycare more about making a simple few dollars off of someone then allowing a family to enjoy themselves and to have a simple 3-year-old celebration for a couple hours we will no longer use this park any Associated Park for any...
Read moreArmco Park is a very nice park with numerous things to do, including: Putting range, Frisbee golf, tennis, paddle boating and kayaking along with baseball and numerous new and a few older childrens play areas and swing sets. Lots of shelters and grills for family cookouts/reunions. I even noticed new walking paths. Something to do for all ages! Update to this review. I went paddle boating today with a good friend of mine. The weather was beautiful, those working in the dock area were very nice/helpful. I only wish the paddle boating was open until the end of October vs the end of September, as it is now. There are still many great weather days in October. Please, consider extending the closing to October, please. I still have other friends that I would like to sink up schedules with to energy some exercise outdoors while enjoying the great nature that is in and around the...
Read moreI played a round on the disc golf course and it was not for me. I'm not super beginner but I don't have the arm strength to get more than 150-200ft on a drive, so some of the distances on this course were pretty rough for me. I used the udisc app to find each tee, it was not intuitive on some holes. Didn't see any of the park signs pointing to tee 1 so I wandered a bit and found it. The location of the basket was tough to judge on some holes until you're right on top of it. Some holes with steep uphill/downhill which wear me out quickly. Fairly thick brush along maybe half the holes, amazing I didn't lose any discs but I did get my pants and shoes covered in prickly little bits of some annoying plant. Several holes with water on one side or the other, and several with streams in the field of play. I got thru the 18 holes in...
