I'm relaying a review from my dad who doesn't do Google reviews but wanted to show appreciation.
This past March I brought in my wife's Bailey Cowboy hat for restoration. The Bailey is pretty close to 50 years old. It was covered in dust and the felt seemed brittle and lifeless. The inside liner was crusty and brittle. When I came back to pick the hat up, I was astonished at its appearance! It looked off the shelf brand new, the felt was thicker, solid feeling and the color vibrant. They shaped it and sized it for me on the spot, exactly as I described. They took the hat completely apart, put in a smoking new liner and headband. It feels better than any hat I have ever worn, and I wear a lot of different hats. The new leather headband is thicker and much more pliable. It fits so firmly, yet not so that it causes a head ache. It feels as though it would take an Oklahoma tornado to pull it off my head. Read moreI searched high and low for a baby blue ladies cowboy hat for my fiancée who had been wanting this particular hat in her size. We finally located the hat at Shorty’s and ordered it online.
We were notified via phone that the shipping was going to be delayed as they had the hat at a show and would ship it upon return to the shop. My fiancée desperately wanted the hat to be branded with our initials and upon calling the company and asking if they could do it, without hesitation, they agreed to go ahead and brand the hat for us.
The company did not have the correct branding letters, and purchased a new set just to accommodate us. This company went above and beyond, and my fiancé is absolutely in love with the hat! I cannot say enough about the Customer Service and the attention to detail. These people are wonderful and will go out of their way to ensure satisfaction. Read moreAfter placing an order and paying for the hat I receive a call that the hat is not in stock. He convinced me to spend an extra $160 on a different one that they had in stock. After agreeing to spend $500 I received the hat in the mail. First the box was completely damaged and had holes in it. Secondly, the hat itself looked like it was heavily used. It had felt missing along the rim, the hat band was coming completely unattached from the hat. This hat looked like something you’d buy used off Facebook for $25. I immediately send the hat back and it was there within two days. I had no hat or my $500. It took four phone calls and two weeks to receive a refund.
