Heyburn Park is a beautiful place with good scenery and very clean and very quiet area. NEVER AGAIN WILL I STAY ON SITE 22. We chose this site because it said it was SHADY and Lake view. It was a pull through site with ABSOLUTELY NO SHADE I thought 2 out of 3 couldn’t be to bad. It had a serious slope down to the picnic table covered with rocks.(VERY DANGEROUS) to navigate especially for people with mobility problems. On our last day while loading up to leave my wife slipped on the slope down to the picnic table and totally crushed her LEFT WRIST REQUIRING 2 trips to the HOSPITAL AND SURGERY to repair with a STEEL PLATE AND SCREWS. I hope this saves someone else from a trip to the hospital and serious injury. DO NOT CAMP ON...

This park is not easy to get to.😲 And it's way out in the middle of nowhere. 🫣 But it is one of the nicest COE locations I have visited in weeks! 😀Very well manicured✂️

Very nice beach with real sand. The water isn't particularly clean looking but this is the nicest beach I've seen anywhere in months 🏖️

It's disappointing that once again I was walking around with a plastic bag picking up trash from inconsiderate entitled campers. Cigarette butts and cans everywhere! 😡 A garbage can is provided right at the bathroom! And there's two huge dumpsters! I think there should be an adjustment to the system, of course they would have to come to inspect your site when you vacate it but if you leave trash then you can't book...

The infrastructure at this Corp of engineers c c is the worst I have ever seen. Only one single sewer dump to serve all rvs with no potable water at the dump location. Exit lane next to checkin building riddled with deep potholes for approximately 50 feet. My worn out 30 amp pedestal breaker continuously “flipped “. When pressing down hard enough to reset it, it would become unplugged and try to fall out of the pedestal. Not the campgrounds fault, but the county road for final 3 miles approaching the park is gravel and so rough that any speed over 15-20 mph will shake your teeth. The park was very clean and quiet and staff checks throughly for trash after each departure. We...

This was a quiet, inexpensive overnight stay with a gorgeous view. I can't speak to the restrooms or other public facilities because we're in a motorhome and didn't need them. But it was almost heavenly to sit outside in the quiet of the morning, watching the lake and listening to all of the different birds singing. I didn't give 5 stars because of the rough road (some of it washboard gravel) to get back there. It's over 4 miles off the road -- excellent for getting away from it all but a little rough for our Class A. But I'd definitely go back again when in the area.

Beautiful setting on the lake. Sites are far enough apart so you have privacy. Only 4 stars because the bathrooms were not very clean. We were there 4 nights and I don't think anyone cleaned them. Ran out of toilet paper and not replenished. Shower is a push button so the water only stays on a very short time. Not heated in bathroom so pretty cold in 50 degree weather.
