1st day - Grass was a little tall and website doesn’t say anything about golf carts not allowed. Loaded ours and brought it to see a sign and a rude person about us having our golf cart here. Buddy got chewed out because he parked in an unoccupied spot with his boat. Not enough parking at all. Will definitely be our last time here. Place has potential if they get some more people friendly campground managers. They seem to be on a power trip.

2nd Day - we are not early bed time people. Was going to visit friends at another park (Willow Springs which we will stay at from now on) and they informed us the gate to get back in will be locked at 10pm. How would ambulance get into camp ground. Park Ranger visited us about our golf cart. Told the gentlemen that if they had put the restriction on the website, we would have never brought it. He said they didn’t do that due to they didn’t want to scare campers off. Nevermind we took the time to load our cart and prep the camper to haul it. The camp ground is nice if the pile of dead limbs were picked up and the grass was cut. Our friend showed up this morning and parked and the old man on the camp manager ride, SxS, just throws his hands up in the air without telling him what he done wrong. 1:00am (quiet time no manager arrived) we are awaken by an airboat that lasted about an hour. We were by the boat ramp and they do not manage speed limits for people coming into the boat ramp area. We are glad this place is for some people. But it was not for us or golf cart campers. Managers aren’t people friendly and doesn’t respect we came to relax...

I was completely baffled at the situation, I asked for her name during conflict and supervisors names what company, her an the other man Mowing proceeded to watch Me pull to the water an wait on my husband.... This is a very nice Corp of Engineers Park. We were in spot #28 and had a nice view of the lake. We were here in late May and the temperature was lovely. We opened the windows on the travel trailer to enjoy the cool breeze. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset on the lake. We were just here overnight so I didn’t go to the bathhouse on site but it’s not far from our spot. Gave it a 4 because it’s electric and water only, no sewer hookup which makes it’s hard for us to stay more than about 4 days. There is a dump station in the park. There are picnic tables and fire pits at each site. There are a lot of mature trees which offers shade at most locations. We had no problem backing into the site, plenty of room to maneuver and no trees to block our path. Would love to come back when we have longer to stay and enjoy the full experience...

Excellent Campground! Some water access, clean restrooms and showers. Water hookups are shared so you may need an extra hose. Good boat ramp and dock. Most of the Campground sits on a nob so there's usually decent airflow. Lots of shade. Top notch facility. Very friendly and helpful camp host.! I highly recommend this place for an RV camper. And of course it's on Lake Texoma so the fishing is world class.
