Sneaky Tiki Restaurant — Restaurant in Durant

I called in an order for a chicken wrap and chips and salsa after working all day. I went to pick it up and they had no record of it . I literally stood there waiting for about 30 min and a lady came and explained to me that the on line menus was not correct. I said no problem I’ll take another kind of wrap and chips and salsa. I stood there for another 15 min and asked the young man that seats you how long it was going to be and remaining calm and polite the entire time . He said honestly it will be a while. I said I will give you 10 bucks to walk it down to my room which was maybe 20 yards away straight out the door he was standing by and he said honestly I’m going to be to covered up . I said bubba it would take you 3 min to do that for me. He walked off so I finally walked back to my room with nothing to eat. I’m 46 years old and I have always been in the customer service business. I do whatever it takes at all times because without customers there is no business . I’ve never done a review in my life but this warranted one. They had open tables etc and they were fairly busy but again it was a wrap which might I add I ordered because it’s a Friday night and a holiday weekend and I figured they would be busy so I ordered whatever would be quickest for the business and myself. Whoever the manager is and the gentleman who seats you have no business being in the customer service business . Not once did I act or say anything that was not polite and respectful because I get it , but if I owned the place I would not think twice about replacing them immediately. Everyone has their days but to not even attempt to make it right is flat out wrong. Remember I offered to pay 10 bucks to bring it 20 yards or less . I’m not looking for a free meal or even a discount. I’m hungry and they flat out did not care. To be clear I’m not saying this is a bad place , this review is to expose two people who have no business in any kind of customer...

In major need of new management. We’ve been probably 5-6 times in the last month and every time they there’s someone that’s belligerent drunk to the point of harassing the other customers and nobody does anything about it. I know this because I’ve seen it. As far as the food, it’s hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s great. But they will serve you old food (slimey salad, dried out potatoes, stale buns/chips) if it’s been a slow week. Unfortunately there’s not many choices for dining out in the area and since we’ve had one or two good experiences we kept trying to give it a chance. This last weekend was the last straw.

This past weekend (Father’s Day) the artist had some beers before playing. The music was so insanely loud the waiters couldn’t hear orders. So loud it was almost painful. When one of the patrons who is a well known local musician that once toured, mentioned how loud it was, the guy made a joke about the audience covering their ears and how he doesn’t usually play inside but would fix it, and TURNED IT UP EVEN LOUDER. Literally screeching and his sound system was obviously maxed out. After the set was over he approached the man that told him it was too loud and started cussing him, throwing his hands up in his face, flipping off the crowd seated. It was crazy. We quickly left.

This was not the first time we’ve experienced this here. Once we were there for karaoke and the girl was so drunk she offended other patrons by hanging on to them, sitting at their table, eating their food, and management does nothing. They didn’t even cut her off. People literally got up from a table of about 15 and said something to management. Management did nothing so they...

wouldn't even give 1 star if I didn't have to... Went in Sat. night March 2nd.. Never been thought it looked like a cool place. Were down striper fishing so was looking for a fun place to just have a drink.. Walked in went to the tiki bar part.. bartender wouldn't even make eye contact so we walked up to the bar to ask if we could sit out on the patio... with out even looking at us she SNAPPED WITH AN ATTITUDE, " your server will be with you in a min" so the 4 of us sat at a table waiting for a server.. 10 min later still no server, well 2 walked by us just never said a word to us. So finally the bartender walks up to our table and is about to put down coasters, my husband asked her if we would be able to sit outside.. She simply took the coasters back, then walked off behind the bar... Never took our drink order not another word to us and definitely no eye contact. We waiting about 4 more min for someone to take our drink order, no one ever came back to the table. So we got up and left.. Will NOT EVER go back and will be leaving reviews on all platforms... Absolutely so disappointing and so rude, in the bar area. We didn't sit in the restaurant area, although the hostess did greet us when we 1st walked it, it was the Tiki area no one cared to even let us know they would be waiting on us... there were about 6 what looked to be regulars at the bar and maybe 3 out side and 2 at the tables behind us.. It was not busy, there was zero excuse for a 24min waiting and not even a drink order taken... shame on...
