Any good Park is held together by its maintenance personnel by its landscapers by its plumbers by the guys who come in and keep the soil level when it gets damaged from some kind of show or event and all those people who make sure and preserve a little chunk of land that isn't another big box that you can't interact with and and has a social space and a green environment this park is a really good example of that they've got a lot of features there's a lot of compatible things going on nearby in the neighborhood there's nearby churches there's a rodeo stand I mean it's crazy it's awesome they got a nice couple of little ponds that work as water treatment passively in the in the local environment but they don't blow it out with a bunch of signs and stuff explaining it you can totally tell if you look...
Read moreThis is a beautiful park, lots of trees, water and a lovely bridge. It's a lovely place to walk your dog, and I saw many walking their dogs. I just think it's so sad when a city doesn't take care of their parks, I'm not sure how often the parking lot gets swept, but it was very dirty. And you can see that they're cleaning the shelters but not well. A park is an investment in our children and our community. It says everything about what your city officials think about you. I would highly recommend that you visit this park, Then write your city a letter asking them to take...
Read moreThe picnic /playground/parking/shady & lawn areas are pretty darn good and the people will kids and family seem to agree... But........ The pond and the bridge.....I visioned something better. The bridge is wobbly and the bolts are coming out. Some of the the wood as you walk across is another to rott out.
