Not really accommodating for large motorhomes with slides. Smaller rigs had no problem making the tight turns. Access is into the sites are tight turns and the sites are narrow. Our neighbor did not feel comfortable putting out his living room slide even though we told him we could still get out our door without hitting his coach.
All sites had power, but only two water spigots that were already taken. These could have been shared if the occupants would have been nice enough to add a splitter so their neighbors could also have water. We backed up to the building so we could hook-up to the water spigot and filled our tank before moving into our site.
The sites are clean and well kept. Quiet location although we did see homeless in the park next to the fairground. There are security cameras and we did not see anyone wandering around inside the...
Read moreThe fairgrounds did not have a sign, you just had to call the number and the message says its self service. So, drive right in and you will notice behind a building on your left, a grassy area with hookups. Drive into one, and you will see a little sign with a box to put $30 cash into an envelope and deposit into. All done. There were only like 4-5 spots. We were by ourselves so it was good, but $30 was quite steep. The fairgrounds is really falling apart. The buildings are really old and dingy, with garbage strewn about near the horse pasture(?) To bad, cause it looks like it was nice at one time. They just need more...
Read moreWe stayed here in a truck camper on a Sunday night. It was a great price for electric and water hookups. $15 with Senior National Parks pass. The sites are small, close together and not well marked, about 20 spots.. Fortunately it is not near a main road so no road noise. There were no public restroom facilities or showers available as they were all locked during our stay. We had a hard time finding how to get to the RV spots as there was no signage and some gates were locked. You must enter the Desert Sage Events Center Gate with a white arch above it and drive to the west of the...
