A very nice park with playground, restrooms, picnic tables, benches, grassy area, views and a system of trails. It is tucked up in a quiet neighborhood known to locals. Also a photographer's mecca for many types of photos. I enjoyed the trail system and made my way to the cemetary. We looked up its history to find that many prominent pioneers are buried there. There are a few view points along the trail over looking the river. Great sites for prom, homecoming, engagement photos, etc. Parking can be very tight. Be courteous not to block driveways, or the fireman.

Favorite local park. Excellent play structures, very well maintained. Great trails for casual hikes with little kids. Views of the river and falls a definite plus. They're doing a Wildlife Rehabilitation so there are signs throughout the trails telling you to stay on them, which is wonderful for the wildlife but I've enjoyed letting my kids roam around in the fields and play on the rocks. Also this was a prime location for family photography for me and it's pretty limiting to stay on the path. Very beautiful though.

This park was a pleasant surprise and I will come back. The trails are easy to hike and well maintained. Parking is a little tricky if you have a car with low ground clearance because there is an edge between the pavement and the gravel. The parking area slopes up after the dip so you may scratch the bottom of your bumper on the street. There are a lot of people there taking family photos so you may find it challenging going at times to get to a designated viewpoint without going off the trail to get a shot.

My favorite place to wear my butterfly wings and antenna on a full moon night. I load myself up with glitter, and sprinkle everywhere I see fit. Moscato or not, there is a certain freedom that happens when when you let your butterfly fly! At the edge of the park you can enjoy a picnic, shoot some hoops, or let the kids burn off some energy on the play structures. I would imagine the park is even suitable for birthday parties although I cannot confirm that or how you would go about it. Just past the playground are several trails, and picture perfect pit stops. Explore a bit deeper and you will find densely wooded easily walkable trails, with some more vague deer trails. There's a lot of Indian history and loads of vibrational energy on up there, especially the higher you get. And just past the edge of the park is a very old cemetery, which may or may not be open but definitely screams intriguing invites! **Remember the golden rule of parks is to leave them cleaner than you...

When I lived with my grandmother her backyard was this forest, and I would always go down the bank and hangout in the forest because I love nature.

There is a sasquatch in that forest, I was deep in that forest one time and I was walking and then to the side of me I heard a bunch of leaving Russeling and banging like something was panically running away from me and when I jumped and turned to the sound of the noise I saw the brown hairy back of something running away from me, it was huge and fast, at first I thought it was a big bear until I realized that it was running away upright and I got extremely uncomfortable and felt unsafe and went back to my grandmas house, you don’t have to believe me if you don’t want to cause I understand it sounds insane, but if you go to this beautiful place which I certainly recommend it is so beautiful out there, be safe!! And please stay on...
