Great location. It's altitude is sufficient to bring one to a place above much of the rays, waves, and frequencies that are a constant bombardment when on the Valley floor. The serenity is profound to me! This park is nice because it's a little work to get there if you don't drive; this minimizes the presence of the homeless and transients, which typically means less trash and fewer obnoxious noises. :) (I'm homeless myself, so I can say that lol) At any rate, the place is beautiful, with some gorgeous views of the city. There is a worthwhile playground, dog walking area, and lots of wide open fields. I'll definitely go back. Maybe even tomorrow ... there's a secluded little ledge I'd like to test as a good spot to sneak away when feeling the need to tan my birthday...

On 7/14/23 my girlfriend and I were parked up at the park looking at the city lights and just talking. My girlfriend started screaming and a guy dressed in all black started running into the park and was able to hide in the tall grass. He creeped along side our car without making any noise because we had our windows down, and it was really quiet. My girlfriend said he seemed really comfortable, and was kneeled down beside our car, and she was barely able to see the outline of his face because of how he was dressed. My girlfriend said, without a doubt he has done this kind of thing many times. Be careful and let people know this. I’ve been trying to figure out how I can...

A lovely little community hangout. Small play-structure. No swings. Benches and a circular walking path around the structure. Other park features: basketball court gets plenty of use, baseball field not as much; the gravel walking paths are kind of nice, through a few trees and pretty little hills, but they don't pass all the way around the park's edge in a continuous loop, and are not great...

This hidden gem is my favorite park to take my two boys too. It's well maintained spacious open areas a drinking fountain large and small play structures and a walking path all the way around. All laid out in a neat little circle on the top of a hill over looking the city. Perfect for sunset/ sunrise.

Pretty great! My boys loved it and I enjoyed it too. Panoramic view of the city (would be cool for sunset or sunrise), lush grass, benches to supervise kids from. Only downside, didn't notice any bathrooms. And water fountain is warm at first but then cool. Still, will come again.

Lovely neighborhood park with sweeping city views. Is always clean and with friendly families. Play structures for older and younger kids, picnic tables and a grassy field. It’s one of our fave parks. I love it for the views of the city and Mount St. Helen on a clear day.
