A couple of wines (at $55 per bottle) were definitely nice and we did leave with a couple bottles to cover the tasting. The wine server we got was nice, but the other two were a bit standoffish, at least at first. Really glad we got the more down to earth server, though one of the other servers did bring our toys for a toddler in our group.

I get the snooty/stuck-up winery if all the wines are amazing -- some of my favorite Napa wineries have that vibe. But if your wine is average until the $50 price point you shouldn't be super aloof about that. There is no reason, in a place like Willamette Valley, that you can't make a tasty $20 bottle of Chardonnay. I can pick up decent wines, even Pinots, at $20 in Whole Foods and other places. L Bethel had a really good Chardonnay at $75. That is out of my price range, especially when I can get a comparable Chardonnay at 1/2 the price.

Their really good pinots started at $56 and again I've had better for less money in Willamette Valley.

On the other hand, beautiful property, great views and goats you can pet. So worth the visit if you don't mind overpaying...

I did a recent walk-in tasting experience of reserve wines at Bethel Heights and enjoyed my visit and all the wines. Oh, and the view from my vantage on the back deck was wonderful!

My stand-out fav of the wines was the 2022 Lewman pinot noir and they were gracious enough to offer me a 2nd tasting of that fav. Wonderful!

I debated about my rating and my experience was generally great, but I thought it just a little odd that I had three different servers / guides through my tasting. While I'm sure there's some rationale about making sure patrons are being attended to, I personally prefer to have the same person guiding me through a tasting. Knowledge and insight to the wines was seemingly dramatically different with at least one of the...

Several months ago a friend took me here to experience the wonderful wine. I had a glass of the Estate Chardonnay Eola-Amity Hills. It was sooo amazingly wonderful.

I bought a bottle of it, which is the most I have ever spent on a bottle, but it was that amazing, and I wanted to share with my friends. I recently opened it and shared and it was good....but not the same taste as the one I enjoyed there. My bottle was a 2017. A friend of mine had the same experience after opening their bottle. Perhaps we were given a different year than the one we tried and although it was good it was not the same as the extraordinary one I enjoyed there. Next time I will make sure to get the same year that...

This scenic, serene winery was the perfect solution after a hectic and stressful day of traveling halfway across the country. The staff were inviting and friendly. There were 3 separate couples sitting out on the veranda and Heather (staff person) patiently and cheerfully poured wine for each of us, telling and re-telling each couple about the wine, the vineyards, the owners, etc. They even provided us with a list of suggested places to eat in the surrounding towns. Again, Heather patiently described each restaurant’s “profile” when different couples asked. We sat there enjoying the wine and the beautiful view for about two hours.

This was my favorite winery we visited in Willamette Valley. The view is breathtaking. The wines are delicious. The service was wonderful. I could have spent all day here. This is one of the oldest wineries in the area and I loved learning stories about each wine and seeing the maps of the vineyard that show where the grapes are grown for each. We ordered wines to be shipped home since we weren't checking a bag and I can't wait for them to arrive. The Beyond the Blocks collection was our favorite (The Cauldron, The Shallows and The Currents). Pricey but worth every penny.
