This is the best maintained park I have even been to. It's extremely clean. Great playground. Large covered meeting BBQ area for groups, church picnics, birthday party's, etc. This place has a little bit of fun for almost any age group. The have a great fenced in skate park, within eye sight of the kids playground. Makes it easy to let the older kids go play, while you watch the younger kids at the playground. Tons of nice trees, very pretty. This park also has the emerald pool facilities on it. Very nice swimming pool, n hot tubs. Very nice price to go swimming. I believe it might have an outdoor pool also ..but have to return to update on that. It's a pretty big park, also has a few individual BBQ areas for smaller get togethers,, Very close to river rd, n the expressway by maxwell st. Off Howard rd. This is a very calm, pretty park, with a great atmosphere n attitude about it. Side street parking, and a very large and well planned out parking lot in front of the pool building right next to kids playground for convenience with unloading a ton of kids. The park is nestled in a nice and well maintained neighborhood, which kinda give u a feel of security with the neighborhood watch idea. I highly recommend this park. It's just a few minutes from river rd. N the expressway. If I still had kids, this would be my first choice. Simply the cleanest, best planned out park around. No trash, no homeless camps, or any signs of crime. It's a five star park, easy...hands down. U won't regret it. Plus, side note, I often take my drum to this park and it would be a great place to have a music event. Be blessed n have...

There are three play structures in one area. The ground is bark so shoes are a necessity. One play structure is built for smaller children the middle one a bit larger And the third is the largest. I believe I counted 6 slides total. One is spiral, one is tunneled. Two swing set structures thefirst has a chair swing and three baby\toddler swings these cond hasaplastic tire swing and six regular swings. There is also a ride round structure. This Area has a means and woman's bathroom. Thebathrooms are stalled with doors well kept And clean. Ontheouter partof Thebathrooms building there are two drinking fountains and a washing station. The park has lots of shade trees. Two covered areas with picnic tables. Three baroque areas with picnic tables. A kids shallow pool open in the summer months and sand pit. This is a large well kept park very clean lots of trash cans and green grass. The only down fall that I saw wad that the parking lot provided seemed a bit small for the. Busy area and size of the park. Definitely a must for taking the kids to when...

This has always been one of my favorite parks! I played here as a kid and always thought it was the coolest! It's a great park for picnics, birthday parties, family get togethers and more. Its got something for everyone. The two covered structures with tables are neat to rent for your gathering, or just hang out at any of the various uncovered picnic tables. The grass is always lush and green and the trees are just beautiful. There's a small skatepark, sandy volleyball area, and lots of open grassy area for throwing a frisbee around. The playground has a couple updated play things that are a hit with the kids. They have a few slides, two swing sets, lots of stuff to climb on, a sand play area, and more! Some of the wood on the play structure could use some refreshing but even as is it's still a lovely park. Personally I wish they had a water feature (splash pad or something) but with the pool right next door I kinda understand why they don't. Either way it's a beautiful park and kids of all...

I love this park, the grand evergreen trees and monarch butterflies!! I am so thankful for the Satin Love Orchestra shows that i have seen there and for the shelter that i used once to host a breakfast for my grandmothers birthday.. I would love to use their pool and other fun opportunities one day! My only complaints are that with hundreds of people in attendance at the concert.. more bathrooms are needed that have soap!!!! (When food is being served, having soap in the bathrooms is really important!!) It was very hot waiting 25 minutes in the sun for the bathroom and some were frantic because they could not wait. Upon finally entering the one open bathroom..the blowing hot air machines nearly made an incredibly great concert experience unbareable. The two or three? outhouses also had lines just as long and i didn't see a handicap accessable one. Other than that.. I adore and appreciate Emerald park and the SLO concert opportunity, soo much!! Thank You <3

This is a great park for all ages, however, in the summertime (especially on weekends) it can get quite crowded and chaotic. There is plenty of play structures for every age of child. Small sand pit. Covered picnic areas that you can rent out. Plenty of picnic tables and benches, plus lots of grassy areas to put down a blanket and relax. Definitely a top tier playground for the Eugene area. Oh! And public restrooms!
