I walked into the store picked out a small coffee poured in my sugar and creamers then I then went to the shelf and grabbed a microwavable styrofoam cup of noodles poured the water in it warmed it up in the microwave took my two items to the counter. Try to pay for my coffee and my cup of soup, instead the guy behind working the counter/register proceeded to yell at me for making my cup of soup before I paid for it but it was okay for me to make my coffee which cost more than the cup of soup and grab them so hard that the soup burn my hand and I was in such shock I didn't know what to say or do so I left I'm sitting in my vehicle at this point dumbfounded like what just happened and I looked up on my phone to see if there were any other opened convenience stores. Then the guy takes it a step further comes outside lights his cigarette and is waving his arms like a crazy person yelling at me and I pretended to not see him but I am a tiny person and for him to be aggressive and to literally grab hot items out of my hand and burn me with it and tell me that what I did was basically stealing when I know that's not the truth I've done this several times Make my coffee make my soup go pay for it I think he should be fired I will never go there ever again and he has no problem yelling at a customer belittling a customer and obviously he assaulted me with hot burning coffee and soup so I would think twice about going into this particular convenience store horrible horrible...
Read moreIt's the perfect place for a market!! There's no other stores in this area!! Staff is really nice!! They got everything u probably need!! Drinks , snacks, aspirin, its my go to place when im around that neighborhood!! Added Note: I read some of these reviews and to be honest im absolutely shocked at what some people are saying!!20 years ago I used to shop here almost everyday I lived down the street from the market . It seems like now that my daughter lives nearby it looks like the same people from back in those days r still working there!! I have never ever experienced anybody screaming at a customer ever!! I do have 1 question though. I just wonder if these people are complaining about the Latin male working there. Cuz he is the newest face I've seen around and hes very nice. Im just wondering. Also someone mentioned the employees being racist!! Im a Latina and I just dont get that vibe. Just wanted to mention those things that stood out... as far as I know u h as ve to be 18 to buy energy drinks even at the dollar store!! Also yes the prices are high. Go to any little market in any town and their prices are higher than a...
Read moreI'm surprised to read the negative reviews about the owners and staff being rude and the prices being high. I've lived close by and have shopped here and at the food place next door for 18 years. They always been very friendly and the prices are low for a small market. I used to stop at the end of a long bike run with Kuma, my 140lb Alaskan Malamute. I'd give Kuma some water, let him rest and make some human friends, while I'd order us some food to go next door. Then, while our take out food was being prepared, I'd come back and get some groceries. On hot summer days someone would come out and turn on a section above Kuma of the overhead watering system they used for the hanging plants they sold. Then, while Kuma was cooling down and making friends, I'd pick up our take out meal. Everyone loved Kuma and he loved the attention. I lost Kuma to bone cancer on January 19 this year - one day before his eighth birthday. I miss him terribly, but I have many good memories of our pit stops at the community market. It's a beautiful Sunday morning and I need some milk. It's a good thing for me that my favorite Community Market...
