Great hike, but don't expect dirt trails.. After an easy walk to Emerald Falls, you have to traverse over fallen logs, climb over some rocks, cross the creek a time or two, and then you arrive, but what a fun trek it is. Trail starts on the left, but looks like a landslide or two, so you have to cross to the right side, and then eventually back to the left. Not super difficult at all, would not bring baby in a backpack or young kids due to the climbing, etc but the end result is worth it. Nice hike to Emerald Falls to if that is all the...

Well to get to Gorton Creek Falls is not easy at all right now. Start at Wyeth Trailhead and once you get to emerald falls there is no more trail. I almost made it all the way there by going up the hill on the left side and back down. I could see the falls but couldn't quit make it. I might of tried going up the river itself but the water was really flowing when I went. P.S. I do have a YouTube video on this and many other hikes in the...

From the campground go straight back. Go straight passed the bridge. The trail completely disappears and you will need to either climb a very steep hill or walk along the creek bed itself. We managed to keep our feet dry but had to be nimble! Awesome experience and felt like a real exploration trip. Would not recommend for folks with any mobility issues as there was a lot of climbing.
