Wow this is one of those hidden gems shhhh! Don't tell people. Savor the serenity of this spectacular and so far unblemished haven for birds, deer, chipmunks and ? Keep your eyes open you really never know what you will find. Don't forget the binoculars!

Cold and snowy/frozen right now, but we went to see what birds were on the lake. Not much water, due to drought, but this served to concentrate the waterfowl all together. We saw about 14 species, including a bald eagle, and a raccoon!

Stayed at the Wildcat campground loop. The reservoir was empty but the landscape is very pretty and the temperature was perfect. Always be respectful; no campfires here.

Beautiful area! This lake is my favorite are to camp on southern oregon. Growing up, my family always spent a few nught at the camp grounds and those memories are some of my fondest. This lake is beautiful all year round and I strongly recommend visiting. Also, the West side of the lake is where I personally recommend staying if you're looking to camp. Overall, this area is beautiful and the wildlife...
