Avalanche zone warning. Be extra careful. Bridal Veil Falls Park is a picturesque destination located in Provo Canyon, Utah, that offers visitors a beautiful natural setting and a variety of recreational opportunities. The park is well-known for its stunning waterfall, which drops 607 feet from the top of the mountain and is visible from several vantage points within the park.

One of the park's best features is the bike trail that runs along the Provo River. This trail is perfect for cyclists of all skill levels, with its relatively flat terrain and beautiful scenery. The trail also provides access to several other attractions within the park, including picnic areas, fishing spots, and hiking trails.

However, it's important to note that there is an avalanche zone in the park. During the winter months, the park may be closed due to avalanche danger, so it's essential to check for park closures and avalanche conditions before heading out on the trail. Visitors should also be aware of the risk of ice and snow in the winter months, and it's essential to take precautions to stay safe while enjoying the park.

If you plan to visit Bridal Veil Falls Park in the winter, make sure to dress in layers and wear appropriate footwear. It's also a good idea to bring ice cleats or crampons to help prevent slips and falls on icy trails. Additionally, be sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and avoid trails that may be prone to avalanche danger.

Overall, Bridal Veil Falls Park is a beautiful and scenic destination that's perfect for outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. With its stunning waterfall, bike trail, and other recreational opportunities, there's something for everyone to enjoy. However, visitors should be aware of the avalanche zone and take precautions to stay safe during the winter months. By following these safety tips, you can ensure a safe and enjoyable visit to Bridal...

This was a place worth visiting multiple times because we were on adventures to discover geocaches. Finally making after everything thawed, I was there with my son and 3 grandchildren. We discovered Dr. Seuss-like plants in nature, fish to feed, fun trails, and sights that had us making up stories as we went along. Everyone was excited, we found the cache, some places could be more blocked off if they hope to prevent accidents but then, that's only to avoid the litigious visitors unable to recognise breaking an ankle for going off-trail is their own fault. I let the kids explore within eyesight and limited boundaries to avoid extensive risk. Altogether, we spent a couple of hours right in this area and have memories to last a lifetime. The trail had some vandalism (painting on structures) but was clean and well marked for those who want to keep the kids on tight reigns. A LOVELY place for adventure! And near the fish pool, they have a dispenser to buy a handful of food if you care. If the fish are out, they are thick, and huge, and come near the edge. My granddaughter was trying to pet one, lol, but I reminded her the sign says no. That's probably mooted for the...

This place is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for events of all kinds. I grew up coming here for picnics, photo shoots, hikes, and everything in between. The scenery is breathe taking and the time you'll have is priceless. No matter what age, weather, or time of year, Bridal Veil Falls is a fantastic place to be. Not to mention the it's animal friendly! Furry friends are more than welcome, which allows for a fun community vibe. Hike to the top of the waterfall, or just enjoy the pond at the bottom, fun for every type of person is available here, even foodies. As a fellow foody I am very food motivated to go anywhere. I make sure that if I have to go to an event, there will be some sort of food. While Bridal Veil Falls doesn't have a permanent food establishment, there are often times food trucks and dessert shacks. However, like any truly great place, there is talk of a restaurant being placed on top of the falls like there was years ago. Overall it's a fun place no matter the...

If you ever need to get away without actually getting away, this is the drive for you. You can experience nature, wildlife, cascading waterfalls, and if you’re lucky people repelling down the falls. It’s easy to view for all levels, and a short, groomed walk across the bridge takes you right to the water’s edge where you can enjoy the mist on your face and 360-degree views. There are a few short hikes if you need to burn a little energy and have a desire to see the falls closer up. Tons of great photos ops and many levels to the falls that make exploring even more beautiful. It’s steep in a couple spots and has loose rocky ground, so be careful in those areas. You could spend a few minutes or a whole day enjoying in this spot alone. Bring water, sunblock, a snack, a towel for when you end up splashing around, and a camera to capture it all up close! Great for all ages and skill levels.

If you like an easy and moderate walk.. why not take a stroll at this Bridal Falls. Winters coming soon. This was taken when we first arrived in Utah. I know there are a lot more places to go and we are not done yet. The Bridal Veil Falls is a nice place for a stroll 🚶‍♀️ with your family or just by yourself 😊. I do like that this place has pavements that’s easy to walk on and the scenery is beautiful! you can see and hear the water 💦 flowing down from mountains ⛰️ and is just so relaxing …😌. The only complaint is the bathrooms are across the road and when we were there it was (closed). So, we didn’t stay for much longer and we had to leave early 😁. All in all,my husband and I did enjoyed it. If this is your first time and you are looking for something new and easy stroll , then this place is for you😉!

If you just want a good view of the falls, you can park your car and walk 5 minutes to where the runoff in the falls meets an unused road. At that place, a giant pack of ice and debris has wrecked the road and the only way across is with good shoes over rocks and cement. It seems that there was an avalanche in January 2023. You can get to the base of the balls, if you take a winding path up the side of the mountain. The trailhead is near the bridge you cross when coming from the parking lot. The walk is a bit tricky because it can be narrow, have rocks, be wet, and be steep. I think it took 20 to 30 minutes to get to the base of the falls. It's worth it though, because it's amazing to be at the base of these falls and see and feel the mist and look up and see the huge falls above your head.
