Overall a great all around park. Spacious field for ball sports (even multiple games), there's an ampitheater for when they hold concerts and such. There's a path around the park for walking and running. There are several pavilions to hold lunches and other family and friend events. Also baseball diamonds close by as well. The big feature is the All Abilities Playground. It's loved by the locals and there are always kids playing on it. There is only one entrance and exit, which is nice for those younger kids that you get concerned they run away. Other features (aside from the regular stuff) include an infant swing (has a seat for the adult to swing with the infant), one of those electric playground things with touch sensors...?, Swaying pirate ship, zipline, small rock climbing wall, etc. The list goes on. Read moreThe location of this park is convenient, and it’s never busy. I live just a few blocks away, recently I made a stop at the park just to relax my mind after work and I really had a peaceful time there reading a book with no noise or distractions. I enjoyed the calming view of the trees, the grass and the beautiful mountains. The park has a walking path that allows you to take a safe and nice walk or run if you are looking to burn some calories. I like that the park is clean and that it has different areas for recreation for picnics, tennis, baseball , soccer and football, a playground, restrooms, pavilions and it is also pet friendly. A beautiful natural point in the city with easy access to connect...
Read moreThis park almost has it all! There are two pavilions with electrical available, handicapped parking with wheel chair access, very well kept grounds exceptfor follow up after a party but it's possible it wasn't a reservation. There are men and women restrooms, as well as water fountains for drinking, plenty of shade and if you are there with the kiddos at the right time, the bench by the playground even has shade. There are multiple BBQ's available at each of the pavilions, and walking trails and running trails around the park. What's missing? A splash pad. Historical markers or details about the area. A community board for posting.
Anything else I missed? Stop by and...
