There is no signage at the trail head, which is just an intersection of the trail and Grizzly Peak Blvd. Skyline Trail that goes to Orinda needs a permit and you'll need to buy it online beforehand and carry the print.
The trailhead has no view at all but views on both sides of this trailhead are pretty nice although a bit of of a hike away. The trailhead is a relatively high point so it's mostly downhill from here!
