Orion Township Public Library — Attraction in Orion Charter Township

Moved in the area a while ago. Visited the library, at least about four to five times already. Definitely love it! Great selection. Also love the little bookstore! Found some nice craft books to use. I through almost accidentally, though grabbed from the donated bin. I struggle with reading It takes me a bit to process when I realized what the sign said. I set them back oops. I realized they didn't have prices yet so when I noticed the sign. I realized they just haven't gone through them yet. I'll definitely be back to check out the new stock soon! I will be coming back here to donate myself. I have quite a bit of books I can give. They have overall a great selection when i went home through the price stickers are hard to get off definitely recommend a tool to scrape it of works like a charm! Also really friendly staff. First time coming here because I was in the area and needed a quiet place. To be a library and expect it to be quiet is an under statement.. it was very loud and the group rooms are not sound proof; however people tend to think they are. There was a man doing job interviews through his phone on speaker for almost an hour, non stop trilling and being obnoxious. The staff even talked loud. Very hard to concentrate when the library is not being a library. The only nice thing was that it’s free...

The library is very nice. But I am not able to enjoy my local library because of the slamming doors by staff. In the foyer/circulation area as well as the interior of the library. Please install bumpers on ALL of the doors. And encourage the librarians to discourage loud talking. The last time I was there the adult librarian said nothing to a child or its parent who was running back and forth through the main aisle of the adult section. What ever happened to...
