We had a birthday party here this past weekend. For the $350 we spent to have this party, I figured we would have a better experience. We had to ask for our included water when the kids had jumped for an hour and we had already blew through all the punch we brought. We had to ask for our ice creams that were included in the package as well as the birthday T-shirt for the birthday child. When we arrived to check in, there was a line almost out the door and only one check in person. We went into the party check in line and still had to wait for multiple people to check in before we finally had to rudely cut in front of someone to get checked in so we wouldn’t miss out on our scheduled party time.
Whoever was working check in that day seemed like she wanted to be anywhere else but at her job. We eventually tried to find another worker as the man who brought us our pizzas and waters was much more pleasant. We asked him if it would be possible to make an announcement to let our birthday kiddos know to head back to the party room. We were told yes it was fine, but no announcement followed. We tried letting the front desk girl know that we had kids not show up to our party. Even tried to give her the names of the kids to remove them and all we got for a response was, “okay?” When we went to check out, she asked, “so everyone showed up for the party that you booked, correct?” Clearly did not care and/or pay attention to what we tried telling her before.
It was somewhat busy when we first got there, but there was no check in line the remainder of our party and no one checking in every time we had to go up and ask for help. I understand everyone has bad days, but we felt very brushed off. I felt like we spent all this money for a party and the park couldn’t care less about the business it received from us having a party with them.
Water should have been in the room when we got there. Children are running around for an hour prior to pizza and cake and would obviously need water. We didn’t bring any as it was supposed to be included. I would assume ice cream would be brought in with the pizza since you only have 40 minutes in the party room for pizza, cake and ice cream and presents. The birthday shirt should be given when you check in so the child can wear it for their party if they choose. We were never asked a size for a shirt and were given a medium when we needed an extra small. I’m assuming they were out of smaller sizes, but this wasn’t even mentioned when the shirt was handed over as we were leaving.
With all that being said, we probably will pay the little extra money to have a party with Urban Air from now on as we had a better experience there last year. We love Orono Trampoline Park typically, but I guess we’ve learned it’s better as a day trip and not for a...
Read moreI have three kids here at the park. 5, 3 and 12months old. A staff member said I just checked with my manager and if she (my 12m old) is walking around the park she needed socks and a sticker..WHAT! She can't even jump or use your facility! All my one year old wants to do is walk around and not stay in my arms and they told me no! Manager didn't even address me or the situation just had her rude co worker inform me. I went to go talk to the manager myself. I understand if she needs a waver and socks but if I have two kids paid to play my 12m should be able to walk... Now we won't be going back for our oldest two to enjoy jumping because they can't accommodate for a 1 year old wanting to walk around..... Rude and unprofessional....
Read moreGreat place! 90 min is more than enough time. I have a 4 and 3 year old. I will probably do just 60min next time since they were about done at that point. Will definitely be back:) Clean appearing and not overstimulating. Just the right amount and perfect size space. They have a small arcade that you use your card for, a drink machine, and an ice cream cooler. Tables and benches to sit at. There's a couple of massage chairs up near the trampolines, too. There's 3 rooms designated for birthday parties, and it appears they provide utensils, napkins, plates. You also purchase pizza through them and have the option to buy cake or bring...
