Constitution Park Ossipee — Attraction in Ossipee

We were there to hike nature trails and see the lake which was nice. The trail had informative nature signs and part of it had a children's book story board. The trail closest to the lake was a boardwalk that was sufficiently wide and sturdy although not always level. The park itself had lots of space for parking and various activities like baseball, soccer and a playground each in a separate space. Beautiful lake and lovely boardwalk through the woods. My dog and kids had a great time. The water was clean, clear and warm! We would have stayed for hours, but the mosquitoes were relentless. The worst I've probably ever encountered. We were swarmed as soon as we got out of the car, our car was filled with them in a matter of minutes, thought the lake may be a bit better but we were attacked constantly unless we were fully submerged in the water. So definitely bring some bug spray. Otherwise, it's a lovely...

Absolutely gorgeous lakescapes, wonderful swamplands and a boardwalk going through the bog. Ample opportunities to see wildlife, wonderful nature features and absolutely stunning sunsets.
