Heritage Harbor Marina — Attraction in Ottawa

Rude manager, they ripped us off on the boat rental, left us stranded for a hour & 20 mins although we was a few minutes away, we called them 5 times it was a lie each time they didn't answer a few times. We didn't hit anything but they lied & Blamed us for a repellent going out we believe it was already broken, it was $75 to come to us $25 for repair. I would never recommend there boat rental service. They originally told us they would come to us in 15 minutes they knew where we were, then lied saying they couldn't find us, made it to us 20 minutes before our time was over. This is one of the best Harbors I have visited. Jeremy Fowler and staff were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about traveling the Illinois River. Jeremy spent an hour and a half explaining what services were provided at mile markers all the way down to KY where we are heading. He was a wealth of information and I learned so much. With the information Jeremy provided us, has taken a lot of guess work out of our trip and made us feel so much more confident about our journey down south. Thank you Jeremy and staff for making us feel so welcome at your beautiful, new, and we'll maintained harbor. Looking foward to stopping here again on our return trip...

Great Harbour, everybody here was very nice and very helpful. We rented kayaks and enjoyed the foot pedals to propel The Kayaks forward. It was relatively easy to navigate in and out of the harbor into the river. There was plenty of parking and staff members we're helpful in getting us in and out of the kayaks. The restroom facilities in the marina office were very clean, they even had a small General store selling item s that one might need when going out on a boat. They also had a restaurant attached to the marina called the Red Dog Grill and we ate lunch there in the food...
