Holt Park and Center for the Arts — Attraction in Overlea

A quiet park that has a trail with many pathways despite its short distance. There are nice scenic parts of the park people can take advantage of, like the little garden near the main house, or the pond. You can enjoy a nice walk or sit and enjoy nature at one of its many grassy areas. I would love to comeback and see what events and happenings take place. They also have a community library that is useful for those who like to read. I personally wish it was a bit bigger, but that is not in my control. A very solid park to visit...

Love, love, love this place. I am on the Board of the Overlea Artsfest, and a few years back, we were allowed to host our annual artsfest there. It is such a hidden gem. And with renovations coming, I know this place will end up looking amazing. We recently held out Youth Art Show at Holt Park and (with only 2 months of planning) we had a fantastic show. So many children took part. Holt Park is the perfect place for things like this, and I look forward to continuing the relationship that Artsfest has with the wonderful staff...

When you're exhausted from the city, and you just need to clear your head, this is the place to go. The grounds are gorgeous, and you'll find trees of all sorts, that will take your breath away, especially during the fall. You can lock your dog here, or sit in your car and enjoy your fast food lunch. Nobody pressures you, it's just you and the beautiful park.
