This hidden sand dune is in Wahweap Bay. Depending on the water level you may be able to drive right up to it. There are some ants in the sand. It’s a good work out climbing to the top. It’s fun to run down as long as you don’t fall and end up rolling down.

Wahweep bay is deeper and nicer now than the previous several years..... beautiful! Wahweep Marina has also been improved as well. Restaurants are nicer, walkways are wider and nicer.... it just keeps getting better.

Lake Powell is one of the most beautiful lakes around, and Lone Rock is a great place to camp just make sure you have 4-wheel drive because the sand is like powder but you can camp right at the lake

Easy to launch kayaks and paddle boards....... right straight across is cathedral rock beach a nice place to spend the day and even the night. There is a road to get straight to cathedral rock beach, but you have got to have a 4x4 vehicle for sure , but it’s beautiful and semi isolated.... great camping area, best of all it’s free.... must bring your own portable toilet, or know how to fix hole-CORRECTLY!!! Don’t leave toilet paper gardens every where Please!!!! Take your trash with you when...

This is a one place you should visit! Warm water, swimming, boating and beautiful landscapes. If you don't have a boat, they offer rentals. Campgrounds with full hook ups for trailers or tents sites available. I've been visiting this place for family vacations for over 30 years and will continue. We usually go 3 times a year and have a awesome time. Before you go look into the historical background of Lake Powell to really appreciate what your seeing and...
