Offering high rewards with a few considerations, Dante's View makes for a worthwhile stop during your adventure at Death Valley National Park. The road leading to the Dante's View parking lot is quite winding and narrow, with limited parking available. Once you step out of your car, be prepared for the cold and windy conditions, even though it may be in the mid-80s down below. Don't forget to bring a light jacket.

The hike/walk to the viewpoint is short and relatively easy. The views are truly spectacular, allowing you to gaze upon the vastness of Death Valley. If you prefer not to hike, the parking lot's balcony area still offers beautiful vistas. Consider bringing binoculars to fully appreciate the expansive natural beauty.

From this vantage point, you can witness the vast white expanse known as Badwater Basin, one of the lowest elevations on Earth. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a beginner, I highly recommend visiting Dante's View.

We enjoy complimentary access to Dante's View, a perk of working and residing within Death Valley...

Well, indeed the view is nice from here. But, i just wanna make sure everyone who plans on coming had a plan to where they're going or at least have their gas tanks filled and bring extra coz we almost got lost but we took our chances and thank God we made it right where our gas is empty. But, before that i also want you let you know there is no signal/service on our phones here. so you cant really use your google maps unless your car already has a built in thing which thankfully the Jeep has and the place we ended up going was a gas station but the problem is they shut off around 8 or 8:30pm and they cant do anything about it til it opens up in the morning so either you just spend the night they have motels too and if you insist on going home make sure to used their wifi call or left someone a message in case you get stranded or something so they will looked for you if you never got home. It's not called Death Valley without reason. So just be wise and smart anything could go wrong around here and you...

Dante's view is a peak point at about 5000+ Feet above sea level. It provides a breathtaking view of the vast expanse of death valley national park. There is parking space and restrooms. You can also do a trail on surrounding mountains. It is also nice to know that this point has mild temperature as compared with death valley floor due to it's high altitude. We visited in late May when valley temperature was around 95 whereas Dante's view had about 68. Tip: The ancient tribes in death valley used to stay at high altitudes due to the tolerable temperature and come to valley floor only during the part of the year when it was relatively cool. Just like them, one can visit such high altitude destinations during late morning / early evening (since temperature is low) and visit the attractions on valley floor early morning / late evening. Death valley is vast and you need to plan to visit those attractions keeping the sun and...
