Must visit place in Palacios, Texas. Its one of the oldest building in Texas with rich heritage. The guide Markus is helpful in explaining about the place and history of Palacios,Luther hotel and the shrimp industry, Thank you. As of Dec 2024, entrance fee is $5 but would encourage to donate to this historical place. Currently the La Belle ship is under renovation and is unable to see. If you are into Texas history then a trip would be helpful.

Plenty of relics and a display of World War 2 camp. LaSalle relics. No fee but donations accepted. Bathrooms in the back. This is an old building that has been converted into a museum. Friendly staff.

Love this musuem. Wonderful exhibits. Love the how they support the community. The Lonesome Dove exhibit is awesome.

We just happened by the museum and popped in. The displays were interesting and gave a history of the area we were not aware of. The docent that was there had an incredible amount of information about the history of the area. We were very happy that we took the time to visit this museum.
