Deer Grove West — Attraction in Palatine Township

I love this place and it's my favorite place to hike. They are redoing the path or anyone more gravel, which is taking up some of the few parking spot at this location. Maybe people over the weekend where parking on the side making it a one lane.

I wish the moved that gravel to the other side of the rope and took up that space and not parking spots.

It would also be nice if they had the bigger outhouses that had more room. It is very hard being a woman and using the smaller Porta poty and its also on...

I have been running the yellow trail for the last month or so. It's beautiful AND a big workout for an old guy. it's about a 6 miles loop with nice elevation changes.
