Prior to arrival, we called, texted, and emailed for information about on-hand supplies and the possibility of early arrival. None of these were answered. Upon arrival, we spoke with Marc Edwards, the Chief Operations Officer of Easy Air Rentals, to discuss our considerable disappointment with the condition of the house. There were no follow up actions to remedy the problems noted below during the period of our stay. We asked for a local representative to come to the house to discuss the problems we found. We were told the local representative was not available. We were told we would be contacted by the supervisor of the cleaning service. We were not contacted. Here are some observations: a. Our rental began on Saturday. When we arrived, there was a large load of leaves on the bottom of the pool. We were told that the pool service comes weekly on Tuesday to clean the pool. That’s halfway through the rental period. The pool should have been cleaned prior to our arrival and additional service should have been provided due to the leaf fall from windy conditions. The pool service person arrived at 11:45 on Tuesday and stayed for 45 minutes. b. Due to windy conditions, there were many leaves on the outside patio area. Neighbors across the street had several service people with leaf blowers removing leaves from their patios. The same should have been done here. It was not. c. There were no instructions about heating the pool and spa. d. On a shelf below the living room TV, there were many (more than a half dozen) remote control units for the various electronics in the house. No information was provided for where each of them were to be used. e. The cushion covers on the outside lounges were filthy, covered with green mold and an unknown greenish-brown substance. They should have been laundered by the cleaning people. We had to do this. f. Two of the five outdoor bar stools had no cushions. g. Two of the six chairs at the outdoor dining table were broken. h. The gas grill was covered with dried food. The cleaning person who we met on arrival said he doesn’t clean the outside area. Who does? i. One of the floor tiles adjacent to the pool was loose and hazardous. j. There is a scattering of junk in the area of the pool heating/filtration equipment. k. There is an old door screen leaning against the bar alongside a group of roofing tiles. l. Food from a prior occupant was in the refrigerator. m. The garbage cans were full. n. The dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes. o. There are several pieces of electrical equipment and a series of wires hanging below the TV in the master bedroom. p. The comforter on the bed in the master bedroom has a lengthy tear. Should have been replaced. q. One of the electrical switches in the master bathroom was partially covered with duct tape with no explanation.

Read moreTL, DR: Unprofessional business conduct, greedy, may leave you on the streets. Literally. I’m reviewing the company, not their properties. I booked a house on a Friday, received a confirmation e-mail from VRBO and even a private message from the management, thanking us for booking. I went and bought non-refundable tickets and made work arrangements. By Sunday morning, they had canceled our reservation and issued a refund. No explaination given. When I reached out to them, they said there was a “glitch” in the system that listed the property with the incorrect price. When I asked what the correct price was, I received no response. So, I went back and searched for the same house on VRBO and, sure enough, it was re-listed with more than double the rate I had booked with. These people are greedy! I reached out to them again, explaining my situation and asked why won’t they honor the original booking. Their only reply was “we’ll show you different houses that might interest you”. I have yet to receive the link for those houses, of course. My family had to scramble to find another place at a different website and we did (we are now staying at a place that is over 1,5hr away from the airport…) Bottom line: their properties might be great, I can’t speak to that, but you’d better have a plan B when...
Read moreWe stayed in one of the Easy Air Rental homes in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Our issues were the following: several pool deck lounges could not be adjusted as they were broken, there is a garage behind the house, and at several different times, workers were coming and going unannounced, the toilet in the primary room was running (I called and notified them of the issue, they didn't fit it but fixed a sink that was draining very slowly). The final issue that pushed my review to 2 stars was that we left a portable speaker on the patio. I immediately messaged Easy Air Rental, and they confirmed the speaker was there and that they would mail (at my expense) it to us the next time the property manager was there. For almost two weeks, I sent messages asking about the speaker. I finally received word that they could no longer locate the speaker and were unwilling to reimburse us for the cost. Yes, I know it's my responsibility not to leave things behind, but life happens with a family of four, and things get left behind. The fact that they had eyes on it and then it was gone is beyond suspect.
The silver lining is that I contacted AirBnB directly, and they offered to cover the cost of the speaker. Great job by AirBnB to pick up the slack of this company. Five stars for AirBnB, but not so much for Easy...
