Not real happy as I was hoping to be with my experience at dog bar on Flagler Beach. As I went into register, after sending all my dogs records several times via email to them, they let me test run with my dog who has never been to one of these places before. He was attacked by another dog within seconds of approaching the gate. The gentleman who was supposed to be supervising was talking to two younger women. As I took my dog in a smaller dog park which you see in this picture. They kindly brought over a bigger dog who was very calm just to interact with my dog, I thought that was very nice of them. After being there no more than 20 minutes for the very first time and wanting to check things out. I said goodbye to everybody and said thank you. I might see you guys again, but in the meantime stay blessed. As I'm walking to my car, a gentleman close on my tail asked me if I was going to pay for today or if I was just going to walk out. I was very offended, I graciously went back in to pay for the services that I don't understand that I rendered. Needless to say, I will never go back here again. Again. I'm happy for the dogs that get along, but I'm sad for the new dogs that are not supervised as they play with other dogs who are guaranteed not to hurt those dogs. So disappointed in this, the good thing about all of this, is that Flagler Beach is right there, so why do I really...
Read moreWe had gone a few times in the past and loved it there. When we arrived a couple was leaving upset with their dog saying it’s not supervised. The owners used to be visible. Making sure people cleaned up after their dogs. While there, I noticed the poop area wasn’t cleaned up. There were way too many dogs there at once, which wasn’t allowed before. We stayed for a short time, because I was having an uncomfortable feeling. As it turned out, a couple of days later I had our dog at the vet, vomiting, fever and not eating! She’s still on an antibiotic but has recovered. Today she was at her groomer and I mentioned this to the groomers that she had gotten sick and I felt it was from Dog Bar. Only to find out the original owners sold the place and they had heard it’s not run the same. It’s not clean anymore. Beware! Our $500. Vet bill with labwork, meds, and emergency visit was a very expensive lesson. They are not the same! All the past reviews are true. That’s not how this...
Read moreYou must take your dog here! This place is so awesome. Not only because of the brilliant concept of combining dogs and bar service, but the Owners and staff (shout out to Morgan) are the best. Just the nicest, down to earth people that obviously care very much about the quality of service dog owners will experience here. The facility is super clean, particularly the water in the pool area. Typically a spot where a dog "went" is sprayed with disinfectant and hosed down. There are several shady spots, water bowls, plastic kiddie pools for the pups, adirondack chairs and high top tables, swings and benches by the river and the inside bar for the humans. Our German Shepherds, Tiberius and Hannah had a super time here playing with other dogs. Dog owners here are also very friendly and responsible, always watching out and picking up after their dogs. Have to leave Palm Coast for awhile, I think I'll miss this place the most. Hope to see these folks again when we come...
