Beautiful park, lots of great scenery views! The tower has been rebuilt and is Open! A suspicious fire destroyed the original tower in 2013. This tower is larger than the old one and features a handicap accessible ramp so everyone can enjoy the views from the top. So the new observation tower at Wall Springs Park is now open, and is the perfect spot for take sunrise and sunset panoramic photos. But the beauty of the Springs itself is a such a relaxing spot to pass the time looking at the flow of the water, sensing the smell of fresh water is a gift right there to enjoy History:

There is a lovely spring, wooded area, butterfly garden, mangrove swamp, and Oceanside boardwalks on the main loop so you can glimpse a variety of Florida wildlife and really appreciate how the plants and animals change with the seasons here. Iβve seen so many creatures here on my walks. Some of my favorites including: marsh rabbits, bald eagles, osprey, fox squirrels, rosette spoonbills, gopher tortoises, blue crabs, hummingbirdsβ¦and of course grey squirrelsβ¦. A LOT of grey squirrels. There is a playground with a nice sunshade for kids, wheelchair/stroller accessible walking trails, piers for fishing, an observation tower, picnic shelters and restrooms. There is also an extension trail off the main loop that is great for bike rides. Just watch out for basking snakes in winter! This park has a little bit of everything and is a very...
Β Β Β Read moreWhat an amazing park! Such a perfect place for families, there is so much to do! Tons of trails, beautiful views and boardwalks, the observation tower, little free library to give and take books, tons of nature like the butterfly garden, two playgrounds, tons of shelter and picnic tables, and even the benches are a work of art and you can tell this park is heavily maintained by the county to preserve its history of Old Florida! Great place for birthday parties, walking your dogs, thereβs wheelchair accessibility so even people in wheelchairs can go up to the observation tower and see the views. Our kids loved it here, as did we, we played on the playgrounds, donated some books, walked on the trails, looked at the nature and art. Itβs truly one of the nicest parks Iβve ever been too and Iβm so surprised I just discovered it today after living here as long as I have! Thereβs also plenty of parking and public restrooms and water fountains, all that stuff! Definitely recommend it for people...
