I had 2 maltese have the spa treatment by 2 different groomers. I spent several minutes explaining how I wanted them groomed. LONG EARS, LONG TAILS. one cut what called #5 cut not to short but short. The other one LONG EARS, LONG HAIR TAILS and #9 cut long length. The groomer who did my male maltese she did a good job. My female who should have had long hairs ear, long tail hair and somewhat long body hair, this was not done right. Her ears were cut very short and uneven, body hair was cut short and you can see lines in it that just did not blend. She looks awful. First comment from the groomer was oh her ears will grow again and oh I take $5 off next time. Finally I talked to owner and she credited me for the service on Sophie $60 and she said if I would bring Sophie back she would cut the ears so they were even. My Sophie looks so bad, I just am sick about. 😫 This is not how a AKC Maltese should look! Just awful. The second picture is how she...
Read moreI have a senior dog. 15 year old Standard Poodle. He had a stroke, and has difficulty standing for his grooming. They are very accommodating and gave him enough breaks. They also said that all tables and bathing stations are low enough for him to access. They don't have to pick him up to place him on a table, which can be anxiety producing to a geriatric dog. He came out happy and didn't seem stressed after his grooming. They are more expensive, but worth it to me. I will go back! BTW, We were happy for years, going to a different groomer. But he was young and healthy then. The environment was much more loud and frenetic. He started to not want to go in the door anymore.. We took notice, and researched around.. Sandy Paws was peaceful. I didn't notice a bunch of dogs barking. I recommend...
Read moreThe Sandy Paw Pet Spa is always a great experience for my dog Seymour. He's a wiggle worm if he has to wait too long to be groomed, but the SPPS is time efficient. He's usually ready for pick up within 1-2 hours. Their attention to detail is amazing, and they do a great job with clipping his nails. I moved out of FL over a year ago for work, but recently came to visit again with my dog. I made a grooming appointment with SPPS specifically so my dog would have yet another great experience being groomed. For reference, Seymour is a 78lb Portuguese Water Dog. We can't wait to move back to the area in two years so the SPPS can be our forever groomers. Our most recent groomer at the SPPS was Alexis. She did a...
