This is an incredible hike to a hidden cool desert oasis, waterfall and cold pool in the spring. When it has rained the wildflowers up into this place are absolutely incredible, blooming from every cactus and plant you can see. You can also see frogs, jumping as you get near to the water and you can feel like a kid scrambling up the boulders to get to the top. This hike starts out quite easy with a nice slow but easy upward climb. Then it starts to get harder as you have to climb over boulders and and push yourself up Into the canyon. I wanted to quit but I’m so glad I didn’t because the payoff in the end is next to magical. The views, as you come down of the valley, truly made my heart swell, and I am excited to try the other trails in the area...
