First off i gave my card to front desk guy to pay 150 deposit when i got the card back i was charged $390 they never told me there was a 25$ charge a day for parking so i told them to refund me the parking fee i can park in the street they never informed me about the parking fee and my moms handicap its against the law to charge for parking if the guest is handicap. the volume on my tv in the living room didnt work the whole time during my 7day stay and the toilets i had to be plunge to get them to work properly plus the toilet in the guest room i turned water off cause it was leaking the showers had poor presure so i brought a shower head and the pressure worked perfectly fine that tells me the shower heads are clogged and dirty there i shoulda complained but i didnt wanna hassle with a stranger coming to my room i like my privacy when i checked out i had left everything better then i recieved it the place was imaculate. While i was waiting for my deposit and refund for like 4 days i decided to call them to see whats going on. Then they told me they were keeping my deposit. They emailed me pictures of a broken tv that someone punched it , in the reflection of the tv there was only one bed my room had two beds too make matters worse they sent a picture of a broken baseboard and i know for sure we didnt break no baseboard and they also sent me two pictures of a smoke detector with plastic bags covering them the funny thing is no one smokes in my family they said they usually charge 250 when people smoke but there only charging me 150 and said they were charging 200 for damages. This absolutly ludacris that they would do this because what do you know the deposit and the parking pass equals 350 sounds like a ploy to keep my money im still trying to get my deposit and parking refund this trip with them has been a total nightmare i would recommend going next door tonthe palm canyon resort for better service and...
Read morespacious and immaculate 2- bedroom 2-BA apartment in great south Palm Canyon location with well-maintained grounds and pool. Over the years I have stayed as a guest of a time-share owner in this 20-unit property, now that it rents excess inventory by the night, I booked myself into the property this past weekend. For the price of a modest hotel room, I was able to enjoy an entire apartment. Fully furnished apartments, while a bit dated, are a trade-off for the well-designed 1600 sq ft apartments. The apartment layout has a bedroom on each side of the living room, so lots of privacy. Living room has a small desk with electrical outlet to charge electronics, sofa, loveseat and easy chair plus occasional tables. Outdoor patio includes table with 4 chairs. Master bedroom has walk-in shower, both bathrooms have double sink. Second bedroom has two full-size beds. glass top dining table seats 6. Kitchen is fully equipped with pots & pans, dishes, and includes washer/dryer, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave , small appliances include a blender, drip coffee maker and 4-slice toaster. The staff here is extremely service-oriented and the complex is quiet at night. Security gates are closed for the evening so security is also good. These apartments are perfect for couples, families, business people on extended stay, or small groups of friends. This is NOT a party property and if you crave excitement and non-stop partying this is not the...
Read moreTraded my timeshare for a week at Casitas Del Monte after reading some of the reviews on my time share managers web site. |Glad I did. |The resort is small - only about 12 units, however the units are incredibly spacious and well designed. There’s in-unit laundry as well. |This is an older resort with very limited amenities, however it’s super clean, well kept, and convenient to most of the Palm Springs attractions. If you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the large resorts then this is it. Only a 5 minute drive to shopping and the Palm Springs strip. |My only 2 complaints, and these could be considered petty or silly: 1) Although there is a nice large in-ground swimming pool, the deepest end was only about 4 feet. Not deep enough if you like to kick around in deep water. |2) There’s a hot tub/jacuzzi next to the pool however the jacuzzi jets were terribly anemic, not very strong output at all, and the temperature didn’t go up much beyond the temp of a tepid bath tub, so if you’re looking for a nice hot strong jetted jacuzzi to enjoy on those chilly Palm Springs desert evenings this would never do. |Aside from that, Casitas Del Monte is a gem and we’ll definitely be...
