Desert Sands Park — Attraction in Palmdale

The park is nice EXCEPT but the bathrooms are disgusting. We are here for a softball tournament 1230, T with lots of people and the bathrooms horrible, don't know why a tournamtns is en held here its gross to the point I don't think I would want to come here ever again. In the womens are 2 broken toilets covered up with trash bags and 2 working ones, no soap, no seat covers, toilet paper and what not all over the floors, 2 toilets for hundreds of women and girls is bad! In the man's restrooms (per husband) the urinals are clogged and there is pee all over the floor and he stated it's like a 3rd world country who hav no toilets, very, very nasty! And around 5pm the staff was here sitting outside of the office door facing field 1 door on chairs and the bathrooms are still nasty, but maybe they only chalk the fields and are not incharge of the bathrooms, but wither way nasty bathrooms. Guess the parks department doesn't worry about workers actualy working! The only reason there isn't trash overflowing is because there was a homeless woman here gathering cans and plastic bottles out of the trash cans so the real trash wasn't overflowing heck.she was picking up any blowing trash and putting it into the trash can,...

This is the park I always play basketball at for the past 6 years. Definitely not the best park by a long shot but it gets the job done. The basketball lights and tennis court lights are okay at best. This park has a playground a smaller baby one too. There is like one decent skate spot and 2 softball/baseball fields. It also has one open field where they play football for like a youth league. The park has a big sidewalk going around it great for walking or running. It also has a picnic spot with about 6 tables where some people do zumba every now and then. Lastly there is bathrooms which are nasty imo....

Wonderful park for walking your dogs...Has basketball & Tennis courts..also a frisbee track with throwing ports!!! you don't see that at every park...swings and climbing and play areas for children!! Bathrooms are pretty clean and easy access for the handicap..also plenty of parking space all around..tables for picnics and some grills with trash cans. Fields for baseball or softballs or soccer..the workers who take care of the park are nice and friendly..With that said no park is completely safe..so wear your mask keep your distance ,watch your children and pets and lock cars and valuables...enjoy..its a...
