Hidden gem alert!! šŸ‚ We spent the day at Ananda Farms just outside Sarasota/Tampa and it was the perfect fall family outing. From the pumpkin patch and corn maze to tractor rides, jumping pillows, and even a restaurant + live music, there is so much for kids and toddlers to do. Definitely a new favorite fall spot we’ll be coming back to and we are seriously considering getting annual passes because we loved it that much! šŸŒ»šŸŽƒ #anandafarm #tampafl #fallactivities #pumpkinpatch #thingstodowithkids

Beautiful space with room for plenty of people and you're not right on top of each other. Amazing rooftop patio deck with comfortable seating and spectacular view. The perfect place for a relaxing afternoon. This space has a great view of the space to view the live music area. We were able to see two great musicians that day. IMO, it's a bit pricey just for two adults - our day we spent approximately $212 (not including the cash tips paid). Entry fee is $25/pp + online payment fees. Katie's Bar we had 2 drinks, a sangria and tropical sunset lemonade which were around $30 (including tax). The Nest Rooftop Bar we had 2 burgers (approx $22/each) and 2 glasses of wine with charcuterie tops (approx $30/each) which totaled just under $107. The Flour Shop we got a 2-pack donut to go, and 2 lattes which were just under $25. There are NO indoor restroom facilities. There is a port-a-potty tailer near the corn area, and there are stand alone port-a-potty units with hand washing stations by the slide area. Keep in mind there is no wait staff at the restaurant/bar/coffee/pizza barn area. At The Nest when you order they give you the buzzing pagers so you are aware when your order is ready. Since we ordered burgers, you get a paper tray that includes your bun+toppings and potato chips which you then have to carry over to the grilling shack and wait in line again for the burger itself. But the burgers were very good. The wine is a limited selection, but all nice (but nothing sweet for those that like that) both white and red selections are available. The cheese on the wooden charcuterie topper above the wine was great, but with six pieces it would have been nice to have just not one type. We did not try the Harvest Pizza Barn but everyone that had it said that it was really good. The lattes were nice, with a good selection of flavors available, but not very hot in temperature though. They make donuts as well and people were buying them like hotcakes. I believe they had 2-3 types available. This venue makes for a great girlfriends day outing. We did not have children with us but there are plenty of activities there to keep them busy.

I drove an hour to come here. Pros and cons to being here. If you have a stroller, it is extremely difficult to push this in the rocks (which is most of the area). My girls really loved this place. Great activities for kids. It was extremely hot today so the shaded areas to bounce and the corn pit helped significantly. The bubble area sucked good concept, but there was not enough soap in the water to be able to distribute bubbles. The drinks and the food are extremely expensive, not worth the price. There are menu is extremely limited, especially if you are allergic to seafood and cannot have fried food. I asked for a grilled chicken salad. They didn’t have grilled chicken. End up deciding to get Salad with chicken tenders. They charged me $21.99. She stated they had to ring it in the way and overcharge me because there was no other way to ring it in. When I asked for a small salad with the chicken tenders, she stated they couldn’t do that it had to be a large. What a joke. If you don’t have grilled salad at least add chicken salad as an option on your menu. For the girls, they didn’t have A kids menu. The chicken tender meal only comes with two chicken strips, fries and drink. The drink you can only choose soda Fountain drinks. My daughter is 3 she does not even drink soda. I asked if they had juice and she stated only in the small premade packaged cups. Which were much smaller than the fountain drink itself. The least they could do is give two to compensate for one fountain drink or offer to put on ice, the apple juice was hot! They brought the food out and then end up bringing me the salad with snapper when that wasn’t what I asked for nor charged for. While the girls ate, I had to wait for my food to be remade. When they made the salad, they put the dressing smothered all over it. They should really let people know that dressing comes on it and give them the option to put it on the side. I’m not from here and if I knew it was going to be like this, I would’ve coordinated to eat elsewhere. Even though they are familiar with the menu people coming here for the first time do not. They should have different options for purchasing flower vases. They only have one for $24.99. I would’ve loved for my daughter to pick a few flowers to feel special, but the container is just way too big for her. The only way I would ever come back here is if they make changes. Oh, and for the bathrooms, it’s all Porta potties. In the hot Florida sun it is absolutely ridiculously hot. Especially for young kids just potty training!! They should really invest in a trailer. Like the one they use for the state fair that has fans or air conditioning and more clean. Big property and cute, but small improvements would...

The activities for the kids were good. My 3 year old and 8 year old both enjoyed it. We were disappointed that the tracker ride was closed but that would have been fine if they had told us instead of letting people gather and stand around waiting. But the biggest disappointment and frustration was waiting for the shuttle. We did not take the shuttle into the park but made the walk in from the parking lot, about a 5 minute walk maybe a bit longer. The park is pretty large and by the end the kids and my 60 year old mom were both tired. So we decided that we would wait for the shuttle to get us back to the parking lot. One last adventure for the kids and a much needed rest for everyone. What should have been a nice perk turned into frustration and annoyance. On our way out, we walked up just as one family and the driver pulled away. Smiled and waved as they pulled away and we took their place in the designated waiting area. While walking would have taken us 5 minutes, the drive would have been about the same time round trip. And so we waited and waited and waited. And while we waited, we noticed that we were all being bitten by something that was small. Fire ant? Nope I think they were fleas. Small black and almost impossible to see. We moved and walked side to side trying to avoid them but they were getting worse. After almost 10 minutes of pain from the bites, we gave up began walking to the car. And just as we neared the parking lot, we saw the shuttle and driver sitting in the shade chatting with others. She than loaded up a new group of had just gotten out of their card from the parking lot and made her way back to the entrance, after 15 minutes if not longer. I know she saw us waiting as she pulled away and they have to know about the bugs and bites that people would get waiting there. Wth? My 3 yr old was extremely disappointed, my 8 yr old was mad that the driver never came back, and my mom was in pain. The ending seemed to spoil the mood. My 3 yr old didn’t understand why she didn’t come back and begged to come back and try again just to get a ride on the shuttle. I don’t think the hour drive we made to visit this place and the painful bites are worth going back and getting ignored. We...
