One of the few places where you can still buy unpasteurized fresh squeezed orange and grapefruit juice. It's squeezed and bottled on-site. Free juice tasting samples are available (limit 1 of each). The taste, body and color of the juice will change with each passing month because of what variety is ready for harvesting and what citrus grove is the source and its location in the state. So the OJ may be crisp, light and slightly tart one month and change to a more full bodied and mellow taste the next. Regardless, the taste of fresh squeezed citrus can't be beat of you can find it. Because it is unpasteurized, the shelf life is limited. Expiration dates are marked on the jugs of juice. Ask them when you go about all the hoops they have to jump through and lab work and hygienic testing that the State of Florida requires of them for them to be able to sell you...

I don’t like to leave negative reviews especially for a small business, and we usually have a great experience when we come here, but whoever was running your register today ( 07/02 ) was extremely unprofessional. My son went to touch the bouncy balls they have up front and we asked him not to touch them, the lady at the register says “meanie” to my husband. We thought we misunderstood so we asked her to repeat what she said and she says "that was mean." Theres literally a huge sign on the box that says "do not bounce" and thats exactly what a five year old would do which is why we told our son not to touch them. An employee should never comment on a customers parenting especially when we’re following the rule your business has posted. we found the whole experience extremely unprofessional and makes us reconsider...

Yesterday was my 1st visit! We moved to Bradenton a few years ago.. every time I have to pick someone up at the Tampa airport, or go to St Pete, or really any time I cross the Skyway Bridge o drive past The Citrus Place. Every time I see it I always wonder what the Citrus Place is.. well yesterday I found out! I learned about the "Citrus Season' and what types of oranges are available at what time of the year. Then I learned all about the Orange and Vanilla Soft serve twist! Super friendly people there! I left with some local honey, some soft serve, some citrus knowledge, and a huge SMILE! Now every time I have to pick someone up at the airport, I'll either leave a few minutes early OR whoever I'm picking up will also get to learn about The Citrus Place.. and...
