Great place for trying to surf on a larger board - long easy rides for new surfers just progrsssing. I come here on my wave storm and it’s less dangerous than the steep beach breaks, good begginer spot to learn how to cruise on a wave. The local bar on the beach offers discount beer and a fun apres party scene with locals that are...

It is a major climb down for beach dives. But worth it. We swam around - about 5 miles- to christmas tree point where exit was much smoother. Had a dozen disabled divers so it was a great success to accomplish this hike and dive all on our own. Many leopard sharks in the eel grass. And abalone- only...
