This place is worth the stop. It overlooks Cathedral Gorge and the parking area is just steps from the overlook. It is accessible for almost everyone. The views are amazing. There are picnic tables and toilets. I think they are pit toilets. There is a trail that takes you to the bottom of the canyon and you are right in the middle of the gorge. The trail is not handicap accessible. The trail is steep in places. The trail can be slippery if there has been recent rain or snow melt. The trail has stairs, some metal and some wood, and a few railings. Once you get to the bottom you are able to walk amongst these beautiful cathedral cliffs. We were not planning to stop and we drove right past the entrance to Cathedral Gorge State Park but the Miller Point overlook is right off the highway so we pulled in and I am glad that we did. We went there in the winter and no one else was there the whole time of our visit. The hike was easy going down.
