OK let's face it, you can tell by the outside of the building that this isn't Vegas Baby. I wasn't thrilled with having to remove my mask at the entry, but I do understand why security needs to see our faces for a few seconds with our ID. I'd suggest putting up a little plexiglass shield between security podium & where consumers stand. But, seems like very very few people were wearing masks anyway. The air was acrid with cigarette smoke. The machines were massing a lot of noise, but I didn't see much winning going on. There were a few people in the high roller room but they didn't stay in there long. There a little snack stand & bar with seating area. There were of course free coffee & pop machines with little cups, no lids or straws. The cleaning staff kept the ashtrays pretty well empty but several machines were blown over with ash. There were random plexiglass dividers between some random games. Definitely NOT between each game. As a matter of fact, there were several 4-machine banks that didn't have any dividers. There are no table games here. This is video machines (slot machines) only. I figured out that if you just hit the PLAY button without hesitancy, then you win some free spins, that rarely pay anything over $3. But if you hesitate, then you will never get a "red screen" free spin. My party was there for several hours & we ALL did the "hit play button fast vs hesitate" & we ALL got the same results. Soooo hot that button if you want red screens. But you'll only win enough to keep you playing. My sister had the best luck & broke even. We're not gamblers per se & only went for fun, but none of us "won" anything higher than $18 at 1 time. We played 1 cent slots all the way up to the high roller slots. We also didn't see anyone noticeably "win big" while we were there. I couldn't get the bathroom faucets to work for me but 2 other ladies in the bathroom were able to get them to work for me. I guess cold hands can't activate the motion sensor. Honestly, it wasn't necessarily a horrible place, but it was kinda a depressing place. If you don't smoke, you'll gag on your clothes & hair when you leave. I usually have fun going to casino to just play a little money, but this wasn't actually much fun. I was ready to leave even before I lost all my money, but I waited for the rest of my party. I had to stand around bc there was no place else to sit bc if you sat at a game but didn't play, security came to ask you to move. This casino rates a hearty...
Read moreFirst time here. Stopped at the Player Club to get a card. The young woman working was slow. There were only 2 men in front of us. I am handicap, after standing 10 minutes I had to go sit across from plays club desk. Sat for what seemed like another 10-14 minutes. ▪︎Once my husband & I got up there (the young woman) never said thank you for waiting, nothing. She never knowledged how long our wait truly was. (Where was the customer service). Walked around the casino to see what types of slot matches they had. They have alot of the fancy one. I noticed. They do have alot of slot machines that required a high minimum to play. 50, 60 cents, 90, and of course normal dollar, I even was $10.00 and $ 25.00 slot machines. They have free soda & coffee ( set up areas). But the have really small cups, I could understand this size for coffee. But are way to small for the sofa (Such a headache, because bearly 3-4 drinks it is empty). Restrooms were nice & clean. ▪︎They do offer none smoking section. Boy when you go over there you can breathe. ▪︎ The regular part of casino is so smoky, They Do NOT Have good ventation set up. On smoking section in middle of casino little over to right. They have Lounge area; the smoke was so thick in the casino; that you could see it floating in the air. Then there was a small area you could buy food. Then right next to that, was the nice. that you could go over to the non smoking area of the Casino. I was happy to see they had it. ▪︎There were 2 nice ladies at cashiers office count area that were very nice ( in none smoking area cashier counter. When you are new: you sign up for rewards card, we had questions on the kiosk thing. As we walked around they do have cool slot machines. 🎰 ▪︎They do have clean restrooms. It was ok. Not worth making a trip just...
Read moreIf I could rate this place below a 1 Star I would. My boyfriend and I decided to come here to see the new casino as we haven’t made our way over this way since it’s been open. As we walked in & let them check our ID’s, they denied my boyfriend as his ID had a couple bite marks from our dog on it & he is currently still waiting on his new ID to arrive in the mail, & this is all he currently has.. (MIND YOU, we have gone to multiple bars, multiple casinos, multiple liquor stores and we never have annnny issues prior to this encounter) as the security was talking with my boyfriend, my boyfriend had asked what is the policy &/or law against using the ID as it’s still very much legible and visible to see the information they need. They decided to then say they are unable to accept any damaged ID’s as it “clearly states on the board of rules outside the doors”. We checked the rules and there is NOTHING that states they will deny damaged ID’s in any sort of condition. We decided to drop it & leave. We called in to speak to a manager & they wouldn’t let us speak to a manager, we decided to then ask what the policy is, etc as Kansas Star has let us in several times & the male we spoke with was VERY unprofessional and lied again stating the rules on the board outside say they don’t accept damaged ID’s & didn’t apologize once for the inconvenience it has caused as we drove all the way out here. At this point, it’s not the fact that they may or may not accept certain ID’s depending on the condition they are in, it’s the simple fact you have to LIE, be rude, and be unprofessional about it. We most definitely...
