Wonderful park! Lots of covered picnic tables and covered trash cans. Has doggy bags. Wonderful historical signs to explain the significance of the Fort and the city. Views are of the city, railroad, river, bridges and you can see Market Street from the top. Is ADA accessible! You must climb about 40 stairs to get to the top view point but the ADA path has good views as well. Cannons are good photo spots, and has a selfie station overlooking the water and city. Almost Heaven selfie sign made with instagram in mind. Couldn’t ask for a better blend of historical and modern relevance in regards to a place to go eat lunch alone or with family. Spent about 1 hour there total but you could do the whole park in less...

We saw quite a few families enjoying...

It’s a great overview of the city of Parkersburg, and even with views of Belpre, this is a great sunset location. The maintenance and upkeep is great for a local park. This park also has a few pavilions and a playground for children, it would make a good spot for small birthday parties or events. Fort Boreman even has a trail that goes through a wooded area that makes for a relaxing peace of mind to make you forget that your smack dab in the...
