I love this park because there is so much to do here! The full name of the park is Burt Aaronson South County Regional Park. Burt Aaronson was a former Palm Beach County Commissioner who was the driving force to create the park. He passed away in 2018.

The park is home to the outdoor Sunset Cove Amphitheater. It hosts many shows throughout the year and a full list can be found on the parks website. A favorite memory was getting to see Imagine Dragons perform here before they were well known.

I also have great memories of taking my daughter to the Coconut Cove Water Park also located inside the park. It's a small sized water park perfect for kids 12 and under. They have two water slides, a lazy river, a splash playground and a pool. I spent many hot summer days there with my daughter and her friends when she was younger.

Another great place in the park is the Daggerwing Nature Center. There is a 3,000 foot exhibit hall with classrooms and displays. Behind the hall is a two trail elevated boardwalk that leads to an observation tower. The staff here puts on many educational programs throughout the year.

If all that wasn't enough there is also 4 lighted baseball fields, 2 basketball courts, volleyball courts, an almost 5 mile bike path, boat launch, picnic pavilions, exercise stations, a dog park, a playground, racquetball courts, and a golf course. Whether you are into team sports, fishing, playing with your four legged friend, or looking to cool off in a splash park you can do it all here. Mr. Aaronson did the Boca Raton and it's visitors a wonderful service by preserving this green space for so many people to enjoy. Although he has passed his contribution is serving the people in his beloved...

I’ve been to this park a few times to take walks. It’s a large park and my wife and I will walk 3 to 5 miles around it. During the week it’s not busy but even on weekends you will find places to park without any issues.

This 872 acre park has almost everything. Tennis center, pickleball, baseball fields, volleyball, golf course, racquetball/handball courts, water park, canoe/kayak launch, picnic areas with grills, playground for ages 2-5 years, ages 5-12 years, ages 2-12 years, Amphitheaters, Dog park, running path, Daggerwing Nature Center and so much more.

You can enter from Yamato Road, Park Access Road or Glades Road. The park is always kept in good shape but they have some electrical issues so bathrooms are closed but porta potties have been installed until the issues are fixed. Also some field and parking lot lights aren’t working.

Since this park is in far western Boca it’s not as busy as most other parks in the Boca,...

This park is amazing! There is so much to do ! It has a Waterpark, a real Waterpark! Coconut Cove Waterpark. In one section it has shaded picnic benches, a long walking path, a small nature center with a wooden boardwalk that leads through the woods to a tower so you can have a full view of this part of the park. And most days..you can spot many turtles and a gator in the water when you stop on the bridge. This part of the park also allows you to rent space there for large inflatables/bounce houses for parties.

The next section of the park has an amazing doggie park !! Dogs are separated by size. Right near that is a playground for the kiddos with a beautiful view of the water. They have public restrooms at this section.

My son and I absolutely love...

My grandson is almost 3 and loves to ride his adorable custom name engraved "Schwinn" tricycle here! The water park area is closed right now due to the time of the year (it's cold even in Florida - just not as cold elsewhere). When it is open, it really makes this park even more fun! The sunsets are amazing and you can get some beautiful pictures here. All in all, we've been going to this park since his 38 year old father was his age, Back then we were there primarily for the sports areas-a lot of improvements have been added in the past 38 years (lol) and the park is even more enjoyable.

This is a great park! There are bicycle lanes, a dog park, a water park, a large playground, an amphitheater, plenty of fishing spots and more. Just be careful, because I have encountered a very large (10'-12') alligator there twice in the past week. I will notify the FLW about that, and it should be removed soon. Don't let that prevent you from visiting this wonderful park! You're not going there to swim anyway!😊
