Heritage Hill Airpark — Attraction in Parkland

Nice variety of aircraft that has a running trail and benches to that overlook the active flightline. Remember no pictures on the line but great for plane watching for avid aviation enthusiasts. Aircraft are restored and kept very clean by the base museum agents.

I've been an aviation nut, most of my life. Growing up in Southern California near a very active Jet Fighter Airbase, training Aircrew's in the F-4 Phantom, before shipping off for Southeast Asia. I lived just a block over from the Airbase, and would sit on my home's 2nd floor roof, and watch them fly in full afterburner which could shake the windows at time's. This is such a wonderful place. If you are someone who is obsessed with airplanes, this is the place for you! One thing I will say that was a little annoying was that every airplane I passed had a yellow jacket nest, so I wasn't able to get too close to the aircrafts cause I didn't wanna make them mad so that's something to be aware of when approaching the aircrafts.
