Olympic Dining Facility — Restaurant in Washington

Had my going away here assuming it was family friendly... Got in line my wife and 10 year old daughter and immediately was confronted by the staff saying that they couldn't eat there... I assumed it a joke and laughed about it for a bit until I realized they were serious. I explained that we're just there for my going away and that it is a one time thing and they refused service to them. My 10 YEAR old daughter started crying in disbelief and my wife escorted her to the bathroom since it was totally embarrassing for both of them. I'M TRULY DISAPPOINTED in this practice by the staff and the leadership that runs that facility. How can someone deny a meal to a child and spouse during such a happy time like a going away. I had to explain to my daughter that the military USUALLY takes care of eachother and that this should of never happened. This people that had a lack of "dignity and respect" not only to them selves but to the family members of service members they serve with. Truly disappointed...

The menu showed sweet potato fries. I got in line and asked for them. The lady that was serving was not friendly. She pointed to another line and said " they're over there." So I left that line and got in another line. I asked for sweet potato fries and he pointed to the line I just came from. He said " they're over there." I informed him the lady from that line told me they were over here. He just said no. I went back to the first line I was in and asked for ordinary fries. Went back over to the second line and ordered a hamburger. The hamburger and fries were cold. Their drinks are served in juice glasses. I'm NOT going through that again. Prices are cheap but I...

The dining facility needs improvement in both drink machines and food options. The machines often don't work, and the food is unhealthy and unappetizing. Investing in better equipment and nutritious meals would greatly enhance the experience of your Airmen.
